The best new age RTS, the new king.

Game is like dawn of war or company of heroes. Small squad-units type -> Capture points and resource points.
[If you want to build a base - TERRIBLE GAME TO CHOSE!] [If you expect total war - it's not that]
Game is polished, stylish, everything in menus and lack of bugs works like its worth 60 Euros. [foreshadowing]
My favourite part is the conquest mode, it's like a Roguelike Score attacker.
Has a campaign (will update when finished).


- No custom lobbies, not even one, tried 3 times to play a online game, nothing.
I check the ladder of highest ranked player and nothing changes in 3-4 days. (no rank score up or down)
Unless some massive cool update comes to revive the online the game is not worth.

Only 4 classes/races, 2 dlc extra heroes. ultimate edition heroes. [Money hungry game]
The game DOESN'T have content to justify 60 EUROS, [if it was 30 Euro game would have 80% positive on steam].

ONLY BUY IT IF YOU ARE PLAYING ON PLAYING OFFLINE LIKE ME or, extremely pacient

Overall I really like the core gameplay and has enough content for me, and I GOT IT ON SALE.
I like the game, if I had payed the 70 Euros full price my key was. I would be upset. there aren't at least 6 races. And they could not manage to keep the online alive for this long.

VEREDICT - Buy it on sale on third party key seller website that you trust, or that you don't trust, (its only 2 euros right now mate)

NEEDS MORE PROGRESSION, MORE RUNES, MORE UNLOCKS, MORE EASY UNLOCKS, runes cost 12000 that's 1 hour of my life for a 1 point upgrade, by the 5 hour mark i have almost no runes, little runes, in a game like assassins creed, in 5 hours i completed the main story (assassins creed brotherhood for ref)

I think on a graphical aspect and interface design, the game so damn beautiful, amazing game, so tech, so crisp, amazing. The voice acting is good, just doesn't have all of it. Some cut scenes look janky

Graphics and ST - 9.5/10

The pacing is slow, a bit too slow for my taste, 30 hours in and you are discovering whole new mechanics, the story is good, the choices matter, the mental gymnastics are interesting, the combat is cool once you get into it, its actually great when you get into it, the trading is alright, meh, i prefer seeing big money going up, but maybe that is just me, its trading... The space combat looks weird, feels cool to play and do. The game is good.

Price, you can get wasteland 3 for 5 euros on sale nowdays, Xcom 2 as well for 2-5 euros, get xcom for the combat and tatics, get rogue trader for the lore, get wasteland 3 if you need a middle ground, if this game was 20 euros would be a 10, since its 50 for now its a

I mean it's alright

I got a bug were my screen would get stuck in one place when my co-op partner picked up a buff.
I got a bug where i didn't see my co-op partner and when i died the game ended like he was not in the lobby.
The item descriptions are janky and sometimes pop windows under the screen where you can't read.
When you click a lobby you need to also click the password box to enter a password (meh, just jank)
Sometimes you are customizing you char in lobby, hit esc and leave imediatly, should ask if want to leave.
The item upgrades menu is not very intuitive.
The machine hunter char, does not get a penalty for afk at the start and summon 30 tanks, (i got 4 max)
The game menus are pretty but janky, unfinished, the game is smooth when it works.

Hope this is not to harsh and helps.

Xcom 2 still lives up to the hype, its a really solid game in the market, i played chaos gate and this has a lot more build up, a lot more strategy outside of combat but in combat i would say chaos gate is better, outside of combat and management xcom 2 is so so so so much more complete


graphics are good, but the visual bugs are so many, the combat is a bit too slow in its animations, no x2 speed or anything, The sound a voice acting are solid tho, and you really feel your guys panicing.

Price, i got this for 3 euros, dont spend a lot on this, some people try before buy, i dont do it, whatever you chose, just be happy with yourself, if you feel bad you spend too little, buy all the dlcs. You can also try xcom 1 i will give it a shot soon as well. Remember you dont have to give money to everyone, like ea or 2k are not gona die, but if you really like a game show it some love <3
