Jotun is an amazing game. I've beat it twice and I'm on a journey to 100% it. I appreciate that the game doesn't take over 100 hours to beat, the game-play tells a story and does it's job.

-Story 8/10
The game follows a viking named Thora as she dies dishonorably (in viking culture, not dying in battle is dishonorable) for the rest of the game you play Thora as you prove your honor and impress the gods by taking on 5 Jotun in battle. its an 8/10 because you know everything you need to know to enjoy the game. it's not heavy or reliant on the story, instead, most of it's dialogue features knowledge on the real world lore of the vikings.

Game-play 9.5/10
its almost perfect, any more bosses, and the game-play would get too repetitive, any less the game wouldn't feel long enough. The combat is intuitive and doesn't bog the game down, the only thing I could possibly complain about is that there's no option to assign a hotkey to your god powers. More than once in battle, i lost because I couldn't get to the shield are the speed boost fast enough, I had to take my eyes off the action to watch what god powers I scrolled to and I'd lose out on a no-damage run. That is my only complaint about how combat works, its flawless otherwise.

Art 10/10
I LOVE the art style of this game, the hand drawn characters with little imperfections in the lines really does it for me. too often these type of game use pixel art and I much refer a good animated game. The subtle way the art leads you to where you need to go, such as the fight with Kaunan, there's a crack in the ground that leads you right to where you need to go, or the paw prints in the Isa fight.

Overall I love the game and everything it has to offer, I enjoyed my time playing it and I'm enjoying the attempt to 100% it. I love that this game does't take a hundred or more hours to beat, too many AAA games try to pack their games to the brim with collectibles, customizations, or weird side quests that derail the game for me before i can beat it.

It's a very visually appealing game. Great look to it, its a fast or slow paced game depending on how you want to play and it is a pretty good overall game

This is a fun game for those who have ever played a retro platformer. It combines games like Mario and Sonic, but puts its own cool twist on it. I got this game in a monthly subscription box, so I don't know if that counts as getting it for free. I give this game an 8/10

Edit: I have now 100% the game and its achievements. That being said, there are some bugs. I've played for quite a few hours and It got a little repetitive after a while but it was still fun. In at least 2 levels there are more than the 20 specified coins and if you collect 21 of them, the game says the level is incomplete until you close and re-open the game. In the game's Challenge mode there are quite a few spots where if you die there, you'll spawn in the wall when you go to the realm of code. you wont be able to move and you'll have to restart. If this game was ever given an update to fix these things, the game would still be great, but until then I'm going to change my rating to a 6/10

I give this game a 10/10 and it deserves it! this game is meant for anyone who has ever watched star trek and said "that ain't too hard, I could do That!" In this game you are given complete command over a ship and you have to get though 8 sectors of space with each one getting more difficult, and you have to upgrade your ship along the way to keep up. In the final sector you face off with an enemy ship the you have to beat 3 times before winning the game, but make no mistake this is no easy task! the more you play the more spaceships you unlock, and each spaceship has their own advantages and disadvantages. So if you are into feeling like a complete mastermind behind space battle tactics, then this is the game for you!

Terraria is a GREAT game. I have over 250 hours on PC, over 100 hours on mobile and over 100 hours on console, and I still haven't explored all it has to offer. This game is great for someone looking for an open-world sandbox game with little story and lots of exploring to do.

I got this game back in 2019 from a monthly subscription box called Geek Fuel. I played about 20 hours of the game, never beat it, but I thought it was good as it was one of the first games I had ever played on PC. I recently decided to go back in my collection and give it another go to try and beat it once and for all. And while I still hold the opinion that this is a good game, I have some criticisms I'd like to share that hopefully reach the developers.

First; Every boss fight in the game, If you die, you either go back to the last respawn point or you Game Over and have to start back at the beginning of the level. This is fine and it makes sense, but every time you retry one of the bosses you have to sit through all of the dialogue boxes over and over and over. It got old fast and maybe that was intentional for not being able to kill the bosses the first time, but it was painful when your fighting the same boss 10+ times.

Second; Every boss in the game has a secret trophy associated with them that can only be earned through really good luck, which as someone who loves the accomplishment with 100%ing a game, that's 6 times you have to be extremely lucky to get the trophy.

Third; speaking of wanting to 100% the game, I beat the game all the way, sat through the credits and everything, but it did not give me the beat the game trophy which may be a bug and since I'm not going to be able to 100% the game anyways doesn't bother me too much but it is what it is.

Finally; I'd like to end this on a good note and say this was a real fun experience even with the flaws it has. It's a unique game that isn't just a palate swap of another game. it's original, charming, and its got character and real potential. I understand this is an 8 year old game from a small Publisher that hasn't seen an update in about two years, so that's why I'm giving this game a 7.5/10.
