Overall, a good game.

Rocky launch with connectivity issues and menu bugs. Connectivity issues tied to this being the largest launch in the largest franchise in history.

Beautiful kits, cut-scenes, and setting.
However, seasonably-serviced multiplayer games should not be priced at 70 dollars.

I think this is a good video game. 8/10

An enjoyable blend of tactical realism featured in games like ArmA with the accessibility of games like the Battlefield series.

What once seemed to me like a decent reboot of the Project Reality mod for Battlefield 2, Squad is now one of my favorite modern near-peer adversary conflict "sims" that I can easily get into without having to schedule with a unit, or memorize hundreds of keybinds just to earn a billet in a virtual unit.

A player regardless of experience can hop in Squad, go into the tutorial, and reliably play the game and have some fun. The learning curve is no Tarkov, and even the most casual Ash mains can learn the mechanics within a few hours.

A very enjoyable story with likeable, memorable characters.
Most characters have an arc that evolves throughout the game, and the game does well to involve the player so that they don't feel like they're just observing the stories play out in front of Jill.

The aesthetic and music are both individual interests of mine, but they are both done very well in VA-11 Hall-A. Players who dig the neo-tokyo wave type deal will enjoy the setting and music, the music even being available for the Player to choose in the "Jukebox" before the beginning of each day.

This was the first Steam game in which I've earned every achievement, which this game makes pretty easy to accomplish.

It's okay if it took you a million times to beat the Witch game, It definitely took me a while.

Super fun to play with friends. As a tacticool shooter, I'd rate 8/10. As a team game, I'd rate 9/10. There are many operator combos and other tricks to figure out which are 10000x more entertaining with friends.

ArmA has always been a favorite series of mine, but this game tops it off. With the right circumstances, a few hours with a group of friends can be a great time. With the amount of mods and servers with different game types, it almost feels like you're playing a completely different game when you swap modes, for example: switching from KOTH to Exile. I recommend this game, though be aware that there is a rather steep learning curve. One of the few games that reels me back in, month after month to see what kind of new content is contributed by both the developers and players alike.
