Early Access Review
This game is truly a Labor of Love. The devs are active and engaging every month and have incrementally made a game I've loved for years even better. I hope they keep at it and this gem gets the credit it deserves.

My only complaint is I want more. The aesthetic is charming, the challenges are fun and open-ended (you don't have to worry about being "railroaded" into an esoteric configuration to win), and the soundtrack/sound effects add to the zen vibe.

I have never felt Buyer's Remorse for a game purchase as hard as I do for Starfield. Wait for a steep sale; the current -30% doesn't even come close to what I'd be willing to pay, having paid full price and played the game well after giving it a sporting chance. It's like going to the theater expecting A New Hope and getting Phantom Menace instead. You'll have more fun scrolling through r/doorporn than sitting through this game's endless loading screens. No Man's Sky does a better job of space exploration, dogfighting, and gameplay, at half the price.

When I first purchased this game back in Early Access, it needed a lot of work. I put the game down for over a year so I wouldn't spoil the final product for myself. I would constantly joke with my friends about how long it spent in Early Access. Larian has delivered an amazing game with Baldur's Gate 3. I'm not even through my first run and I'm already committed to playing at least once more, just to see the difference decisions make in the world. It's very rare to find a game worth playing again and again. BG3 gets my Game of the Year vote.

This game is what you want if you are feeling nostalgic for the days of Rollercoaster Tycoon. Dedicating time to scenery is rewarded by the game mechanics. You'll need to closely monitor coaster performance, if you want to be profitable; you may even outright replace those aging coasters. Although a tedious distraction, I actually have fun hunting down the vandals and booting their bandanna'd buttocks. Definitely worth the ticket price.

Fun game good for passing the time while you wait for your better half to get ready or gaming group to log on. There is no tutorial (at the moment), so you may have a hard time figuring out what some of the buildings DO, but that's what the internet is for... The Developer clearly loves their work, so this may be resolved in the future.

Truly a "labor of love." The developers got their money from me some time ago, but they continue to improve and expand upon this visually attractive game that already offers infinite, however repetitive, gameplay. There is a "grind" element to it, but you are rewarded for exploration, making accomplishments towards the main story easier. The Atlas Passes don't seem to offer much in practice, so don't feel like you're missing out on anything when you're barred from access (I have 1, 2, and 3). Don't get married to any star system: base building is a VERY rewarding quest line and essential to the game, but the grass is always greener, sometimes literally. I recommend you don't always take your favorite starship out: once you have six, you're going to get stuck trading the one you're currently flying for the new one you want. The "S" Class ships have not appealed to me for this reason. My modified "B" Class fighter is always superior to a base "S" Class. This is a good game, definitely worth the price tag during the multiple sales.

This is a beautiful little game that is as addicting as Minecraft with as much potential. I look forward to its success.
The graphics are by far its greatest charm but the RPG elements coupled with its RTS essence really make it unique.
