I fell in love with Star Wars in 1983, when I saw the first movie (I was born in '77). I also had a lot of love for the games, starting with the Atari games and later the NES, SNES and PC. One of my most old time favorites is Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and I also loved the original Battlefront 2 wich I still have on PC and Playstation 2.

The new battlefront game from 2017 was not really my game at launch, specially because of the lootbox controverse, but when I bought it as the celebration edition I loved it. It's too bad that the game is no longer supported by EA and that there are a lot of hackers in the online games. As a standalone game it's a nice game, but most people play this also for the online mode...I don't think it's worth €40,- that they still ask for the game, but if you can pick it up in sale it's a nice addition to your Star Wars collection. I bought it a few weeks ago on steam (in sale) because for some reason my version from EA didn't worked anymore (it does now), that's because I don't have a lot of hours on this platform.

For now I play the game mostly offline with some excellent mods that are out there and I'm waiting for the release of Kyber V2 wich let's you play the game on private servers online with mods...Hackers are getting banned from there as far as I know and that makes it worth to play online again.

If you are a Star Wars fan and like this sort of games it's definitly for you !

Don't be misguided because it says here that I played the game for 0.2 hours...I was there when it was released in 1999 and just as with the previous games from Chris Sawyer I have put a lot of time in this one, like hundreds of hours, as well as in Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 and in OpenRCT2

Rollercoaster Tycoon is still a classic after all these years. If you buy this for nostalgic reasons, I would rather advice you to buy Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic (although I heard that it has problems with the interface because it was ported from mobile device to PC), so I'm not sure if that's a wise choice.

I still have the originals on CD-Rom, along with Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 (+DLC) but the reason I bought the Steam version was so I could play it together with RCT2 in OpenRCT2 and because it's much easier then doing all that with the CD-Rom.

OpenRCT2 is the improved version of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 and better then all of the originals (including the classic version). If you really want to do anything you like (veteran or beginner) I suggest that you buy RCT 1 and RCT 2 on sale and then download the free OpenRCT2 project. You need the original games (at least RCT2) to be able to play OpenRCT2.

For people who don't need all of this extra stuff, or even newcomers to the game who have never played this before and want to know what this game is all about, just grab this classic and start playing Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 in it's true form as everybody got to know it in 1999. This is the perfect copy and I had no issues what so ever to start up the game in the good old Forest Frontier scenario and to start playing.

Nostalgic and lots of fun !

Bought this game as a complete bundel and I had high expectations. Playing the game was little to a nightmare. When you are known to the original RCT1 & 2 like me you know what I mean...This game lacks the simplicity of the original. Building a coaster was way more difficult then I thought, maybe it's my age or indeed my hunger to simplicity.

Because I also wanted to see what the game did under higher stress I downloaded a few larger parks from users on the workshop. I have a decent pc with a very good graphic card, processor and RAM, but what I was affraid of happened...With a large build park the game dropped enormous in fps and playing was no longer fun...I'm sure it has a lot of potential (for people with really high end pc's) but even with a decent pc like mine this happended. I also read that even with people who have a high end pc this also happens, so this is a frame dropper anyway no matter what kind of hardware you seem to run.

It's not bad, but I think the devs could have done more to prevent this, and since the game isn't updated anymore since 2019 I don't see that happening...So therefore I asked for a refund, because I know I won't play it for hours, and I'm sure I get frustrated that when I finally have build a nice park and my computer can't handle it anymore that I will lay it aside.

So for now I stick to the older games in the franchise...the ones that I grew up with.

Same as with the Goodyear pack...no Michelin wheels for the trailers...that's really a bummer, lazyness from the devs. Do I recommend this pack ? Sure, but it's time to use Michelin wheels on the trailers as well. When I bought both of these packs I expected to have these wheels on my ownable trailer as well and do not need mods for it...but I guess I still need mods to use these for the trailer...

I think it's a nice pack, the Michelin-pack is way better of course because it has more tires and stuff, but I'm still very disappointed that these wheels only fit on the truck...You need a mod to get these brand-tires like Goodyear and Michelin under the trailer...Why do I buy tire-packs if I can't use them for my trailer. It's not a nice thing to see...A truck with Goodyear tires, a Goodyear skin, a trailer with a Goodyear skin but no Goodyear tires...I thinks it's rather lazy by the devs !!

I still recommend it...but it would be nice if these would also fit under the trailers without the use of mods !

I like this add-on for the game. It's not worth the €7,- that the devs (or Steam) asked for it so I picked it up on sale somewhere. Together with the (free) download from the Electric Light Festival that can be found on the workshop this is actually a nice addition to the game...The music sucks, but it does bring somenew buildings, tourists and some dollars to your game.

What I don't like about it, is that the band that is on stage keeps playing the same song over and over again...Maybe that's a bug or perhaps it's because it has some conflicts with some of my other mods...Anyway, each band has 1-3 songs as far as I know on the radio-station, but during a concert only one is played.

All and all it's not a bad add-on, but only if you can find it on sale !

I absolutly love this game ! It's much better then any city-builder at the moment. Great mods in the workshop, but even the vanilla games gives hours and hours of fun. Bought a few upgrades for it like mass transit, snowfall and industries. Only minor points are that I expected to see trams in mass transit (had to buy snowfall for that), and when I bought snowfall I thought that there would finally be a season change on the game...but no. you play either with snow or without snow. I also think it swallows way too much of your RAM and system-memory and it needs way more then the system-requirements mentioned (at least when you play with a couple of mods), but even in vanilla the game FPS drops fast when I reach a population of over 200.000 people.

Although it asks a lot of my pc, it's still the best city-builder today and some of it's minor flaws are sometimes not even noticed. I recommend this game to everyone who loves city-building games and it's garanteed to bring you hours and hours of fun !
