I trusted you, we all trusted you. You proved us wrong to give you that trust. You taught us that good things are taken by people who don't have enough, the likes of which are too petty to value that faith in humanity. People like you are not only the reason why good things end but why great things rarely become. I am not ashamed to have had hope, just ashamed to have put that hope in you. For it is already too late for those who could have forgiven you, know that I will never be among them, and perhaps too late to understand the gravity of your sin in any meaningful way. Even now I struggle to understand the soul that takes pleasure in such a deed. I pray that God sees you with softer eyes than my own and that the earth itself will not be changed by your doings, passing over you like the late spawn of an insect born into the cold season.
