July 12th 1984, Amanda Wilcox was tragically eaten by bears. The following day I wrote a poem about her.

AMANDA!
So brave
While being carried away!
I just texted you to say
I will remember you for the person you
Are.. were.. and will be
Forever lost to us yesterday
When I get on Steam I will always see you
And your face
It's framed in grey
The bears can take you all they want
But they will never be able to say
Amanda was their friend
Because she wasn't
She was my friend
And Amanda was your friend
And to all the furry woodland creatures of the world
Except the angry bears that ate her
Because those bears are ____.
