also this probably has top 3 skits and dialogues in the whole series.

look at my playtime. i only played with Lest (male mc) for one playthrough.

this is my second playthrough, probably had another 100 hrs on the 3ds one as well

A Sky Game without padding, and with properly paced dungeons? in a "filler" game?

for anyone playing the Trails Series, DO NOT SKIP this entry, |

the gameplay is the best for Sky. The story details in this game is MASSIVE and reaches even up to the latest trails game, THE WRITING IN THIS GAME Reaches level of depth that NOT EVEN THE LATEST trails game has ever managed to replicate.

For anyone who wants to jump into this straight after Sky SC, DONT. have a small break first, the pacing of the game is much better this way for you. especially coming enthusiastically from Sky SC ending and you're on an all time high. the beginning of this game is a bit slow paced and might have a "jetlag" kind of reaction.

Recommended BUT, i feel like i paid for a half of an normal dungeon crawler game.

Story could actually be expanded more after main story has ended

Crafting could use a few more QoL changes and polish.

Cooking items should have MORE significant numbers attached to the recipes. (e.g Decrease Skill Cooldown should go from 5.0% to 50%, etc)

Combat could use more Skills and slots to do skills from, normal attacks should have more ranges, combos and more meaning . maybe you could bring two or three characters down to the abyss at once.

Characters should also have more events and interaction inside the base camp, sometimes it feels empty when you come back from the dungeon and just do crafting. maybe make them have a party that can give buffs? or have interactions or small animations of them doing things together?

Farming and Pets Raising should have been one option and should be more automatic

get this on sale if it goes down for like 50% or more. And only if you like the developer and wish to see more games like this.

i like the graphics, characters and the voice actors could be used for a future game. but it needs a LOT more playtest and thought into the game design if a similar game needs to come out.
