Joker

SPOILER ALERT:
Joker was a fantastic movie that had me on the edge of
my seat the whole way through.
From start to finish I was shocked at every single
scene and it was really unpredictable which I loved because you have that feeling of the unknown where you
don’t know what will happen next. Arthur Fleck, A.K.A
Joker was a clown for hire and after getting chewed up and
spit out by society, he was slowly driven to insanity and
turned into his iconic “clown prince of crime” persona by
the end of the movie.
The movie did a good job in making you feel sympathy toward the Joker and you find yourself kind of rooting
for him. Joaquin Phoenix did an outstanding job as the
Joker and nailed the personality and posture of the infamous clown.
The movie portrayed Gotham City in such a realistic
way and it really makes you immersed in the movie and
you feel a sense of darkness and despair.
There’s this one scene where Joker was talking to
young Bruce Wayne, the future Batman, and me and my
friends were freaking out during their interaction. Robert
De Niro also did a good job as the talk show host Murray Franklin. I’m really glad they made a standalone Joker
movie so you can see things from a different perspective
for once instead of just Batman’s. I don’t have any complaints about the movie, it was a masterpiece, and I enjoyed every second of it.
