What this game development studio for this game did to the founder of this game is horribly unjust.
theres a lot of info out there about it. Important to consider before buying or supporting this game

Took a ton of the fun out of Xrd in order to make it appeal to a wider audience.
In effect, it took away everything that made Guilty Gear the fast paced combo/oki oriented game it used to be.
Heavuly nerfed airdash, knockdowns, oki, jumpcancel moves, disjoints (unless you're nago), airdashes and even outright removed aircombos, and instant kills. These are all of the things that made Guilty gear fun in the long term.

however If you're new to fighting games this will be a thrill. Definitely a great place to start
I just cant recommend the this game to anyone who is going to be into fighting games and expect a ton of reward for their hours.
To me, it takes the whole series to a completely different turn at the cost of its gameplay Identity that its had for the past 25 years.

This game has no business being this fun, my god
If like to sweat when you play smash and like to play like a total crackhead this game will give you the execution barrier
no recent smash game has been able to before.

If you play any other fighting game give this a shot, and be very very patient with it. You might just not be able to go back to any other game. Seriously this is probably the best video game I've ever played, that is, if you can even call it that. It'll feel more like a journey, you'll go through highs, lows, self doubt and triumph and you might just learn a thing or two about yourself along the way.

this game hasnt aged too well so if you just played fallout 4 thinking that youll like this game. odds are you are going to find a completely different game here. However if you are into oldschool CRPG'S and are absolutely passionate about fallout and want to tell everyone youve played them all. Go for it. This game does requre patience to be fun. It;s a good game if this is your genre
