I have over 900 hours in this game before it released on steam and loved every second.

Quests: Different from other MMOs in the sense that the quests are actual stories not just "go kill x"

PvM: There is an abundance of PvM in this game from killing goblins all the way to endgame content such as the Inferno which tests your limits as a player.

PvP: There is a very active PvP community that has a contant changing meta and a limitless skill ceiling

Graphics: OSRS falls short here with the graphics still being from 2007 however, not only the gameplay make up for it, it becomes a endearing style you learn to love as you play.

The Community: This is one of OSRS's strongest suites. The player base is very dedicated and loves the game. The OSRS Wiki[osrs.wiki] is one example of this with so much effort put into it to make it one of gamings best wikis.

Overall this game is unforgettable and definitely worth playing.

I have hundreds of hours played in this game and Oldschool Runescape before it came to steam and I can wholeheartedly recommend it! The community is overall very friendly but like all other game communities has its fair share of toxicity, the pvm is the main focus of the game and it is extremely rewarding. The leveling is pretty fast here and it is very satisfying. The pvp is sadly not nearly as active but still has people fighting both in the wilderness (where pvp is allowed based on peoples levels) and in minigames such as clan wars.

Good time waster for a bit but you just start idling and barely ever opening the game.
