I have heard this game from Youtube and found the rolling a star very fun looking. So I found it was on steam purchased it, after playing game for a while and finishing the main series, here are my experience:

What I liked about it:
- The game is in general easy to learn and understand after knowing the controls
- It feels so satisfying to role down bigger objects as your katamari grows over-time and some entities (animal, human etc.) will try to run away from you!
- Silly remarks that you can get from the King while playing the levels and at the end
- Pretty fun cosmetics you can earn for you alien character
- It records all items/entities you collected that you can look back in your collection and what specific size you need in order to roll it over
- Cruelly underrated soundtracks
- Whenever you close the game after saving on menu, the alien waves at you which I find cute :-)
- The pay for this game in exchange for the content/time you consume is a great plus!

What I dislike about it:
- How I was unable to change the settings (control/graphics etc.) of the game from the start until I finished the tutorial stage
- Some animals/humans etc. can attack you to push you far away, depending on the level this can be very frustrating especially if you fall from heights that you climbed earlier
- In star levels where you can earn eternal mode, if you meet the requirement, at the last minute before level ending... the screen brightens to the point it becomes hard to see where you go losing potential to enlarge your star
- Sometimes you get stuck in tight gaps when you try to roll over, which sometimes result of items you rolled in to be thrown away from your katamari, which can be too annoying especially if you try to complete the entire collection
- Camera angles are not always consistent when you are in tight space against walls, making hard to see where you want to roll your katamari
- I freaking hate the Taurus and Ursa Major levels where the game ends the moment you roll over one of their family, causing you to re-do the level over and over... going for all collections fuels this frustation more :(
- When you screw something up during the level, you've to exit it and then take few steps from menu + king's dialogue to restart it. Wish they add a retry option where you can immediately restart the level :-(

In overall, outside some frustating elements, I highly recommend the game for being weird AND fun! :B

After playing the first playthrough of TEVI and played RR (Rabi-Ribi) last year before its release, this is how I review TEVI so far:

Things I love about TEVI:
> Voice acting is added for nearly all characters, making dialogue, combat and story way more engaging!
> Story-wise I find it better than Rabi-Ribi in most scenario, especially being darker as you progress throughout the chapters
> Offers way more variety game-modes you can choose, although I do recommend to play the first playthrough without any of these modes.
> TEVI has more advanced level system that allows her to learn certain, unlock certain features and improves her base stats!
> Her companions has variety of skills too that has more versatility than Ribbon had in RR!
> Able to make your own food/items (most of them at least), where each has variety effects in combat especially. In RR most of them you had to buy it from Miriam with the exception of golden carrot.
> Combat is significantly improved where enemies have state that determines how easily you can interrupt/stagger them, which can occasionally send them to flying (same thing can happen to you!). This applies also to bosses, though only if you break their toughness which is very well thought!
> More quests available and it doesn’t have to be done in chronological order always.
> Puzzles are more challenging in general, especially the way how you have to use your bombs to break through obstacles.
> As much as I was a fan of farming EN (currency in RR) from defeating enemies, in TEVI you have to go out of your rway to find Zennies (currency in TEVI) as resources from blocks, which encourage a player to pay more attention at secrets.
> The amount of sigils (badge) that this game offers is, compared to RR, outstanding… it offers so much different playstyles you can play on TEVI!
> Unlike RR, where it is sometimes not possible to change the difficulty in mid-game. In TEVI you can do this anytime by visiting your room except when you play on infernal BBQ difficulty.
> Speaking of difficulty, in my experience playing at expert… it is tolerable especially if you know how to utilize your sigil setups (equivalent of normal/hard in Rabi-Ribi). Infernal BBQ does pose a challenge for sure though!
> Having more save slots always appreciated!

Things I am less in favor with TEVI:
> Most soundtracks I absolutely love it and are catchy, though there are some that are for specific areas not so fitting.
> Story part has also its flaws that some question regarding certain characters remains unanswered.
> You do take hit from enemies that end up outside the screen (walking over there or by you knocking them back). Same for the white bombs… I sometimes hit them by accident before I move to the next map part.
> As I do not mind much as others may, I am still sad that Tevi is actually a HUMAN! :(

At last… There are returning characters from Rabi-Ribi and it has its own mini-game that brings nostalgia to many of us bunny lovers!

(I may fill this list further as the game will possibly evolve over-time!)

In overall I highly recommend this game, enough hours you spend in this game <3

After playing Rabi-Ribi, I wanted to give this game a shot and I absolutely loved it! The following things added up:

> Cannot agree more with many others how cute Fei is and how she tries to help you out in emergencies.
> There is quite some depth on how to build your modulus that can determine your battles drastically.
> Difficulty bullet hell wise is very tolerable, more merciful than the touhou series. xD
> Soundtracks of certain bosses are pretty underrated, enjoyed listening to it while doing these battles.
> The snake game mechanics is very well thought, I am just happy that hitting a wall or corner of the screens does not damage you x_x
> The game is top tier in breaking the 4th wall! Especially at the ending part where you fight against the developer and how they tell you how to adjust the files inside their game to return Fei!

The 4th wall part made me cracked up so much that I could not even focus XDDD I bet gruntilda from the Banjo Series definitely would love joining here with rhymes! The game is in overall pretty unique :3

In short, highly recommended especially if you love bullet hell games!

I really enjoyed the game for more than a year. I loved to have a good chase with killer and try to be stealthy as possible, while enjoying as killer to chase survivor and feel the thrill in getting them. Some matches can be too boring but some are so fun cause of the funniest ideas your opponents can come up with!Sadly, with this new patch coming up and unless things are gonna change after the PTB... I have to review this negative. I do get the dead hard being over-saturated, even though I don't mind (as killer). But nerfing the whole healing for survivors...I do play 7:3 (killer:survivor) and I still believe this patch favor killers (experienced ones mostly) on the edge cause healing is for solo survivor hard... and I will see more survivors remaining injured in the match that I feel like not gonna enjoy a good chase T_T The fact that some gen perks (brine, overcharge and scourge) for killers are getting nerfed... it is not gonna help new killers at all since gen rushing (which is the main problem they should had been focusing on!) is still there and survivors can outsmart those new killers completely discouraging them to play further. The light interaction removal with wraith, nurse etc. was something I enjoyed especially by getting it with flashbangs, those are so hard to pull of yet so rewarding... I gonna miss those moments when playing survivor T_TFinally... who on earth asked for hillbilly add-ons being nerfed further by making curving harder... One of our favorite killer has to be crucified in the most gruesome ways -_- Overheat problem still remains or worse. There are some add-ons adjustment for killers that some people surely did not asked (unless I live under the rock). At this point I totally agree regarding the feeling that BHVR do not test these things out themselves before executing (even if it is on PTB) <_>This really push me to play now killer-only as playing solo survivor would be too frustrating for me now. :-(

I have never played any games made by Falcom until some friends of mine recommended me to try out the Trails Series. Coming from Final Fantasy series, I finally decided to try the first serie out of the Trails and all I can tell... my friends truly didn't disappoint me! <3 The game I would easily rate one of the best that I have ever played and here are my sum ups:

Greatest features the game offers
> Very solid story line that involves throughout the journey as Junior Bracers
> Unique (turn based) combat system involving arts, crafts and how you learn arts through combining the right quartz on your characters orbments! Moreover, you've the option that (boss)monsters become weaker for every retry if they pose too much challenge.
> Excellent graphic/art style, especially the way how characters are designed where I find their eyes cute (especially Kloe!)
> Ability to save/load the game regardless where you are except during cut scenes and it has tons of save slots!
> Sense of humor that can happen within the story, side story and even during the battle that I cannot help to laugh when playing! You can actually get funny texts from empty chests you examine!
> Variety of amazing side-quests and places to explore, where some are very rewarding to help you progress through the game!
> Amazing soundtracks/BGM, where some of them I keep listening whenever I am driving for work. Additionally, when you're in the pinch during the battle the soundtrack changes too!
> In case playing another play through, you can speed up through settings and fast forward texts, which can save time for those who want to rush!

Less greater ones
> The game can be somewhat too linear in certain stories, restricting you to do other things which can be a nuisance.
> Secrets inside towns/villages/borders etc. is sometimes too lacking, like I recall not to have seen a single chest inside a building.
> Some status effects can be broken which is either in your favor or against you especially faint. Confusion/poison are in overall less punishing though x)
> I have played the game in hard difficulty where the stats in overall are 20 % higher, which was especially in the beginning rough where the damage scale against you can turn out insane... So for hard/nightmare the balance is not the best, if you seek the challenge >.<
> The game has no voice acting available in this version except during the battle which is in English... It made the game way less engaging since I prefer with JP voice acting.

Finally, for those who wants to enjoy the game with JP voice, be sure to check out this amazing youtuber who made an easy guide to how install voice patch in this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upaUO2aw-LA ^_^

I hope these summary are helpful for you all and right now I started the SC series, so you can tell by now how this serie encourages me to go through the entire Trails journey!

A must have for any JRPG player! Cheers! :B

This game is a masterpiece, I immediately loved it when I saw the trailer. In addition, this platform game is one of the best I can tell. After playing several hours, I find many resemblance back in that game:
Super Mario - Literally some secrets you find e.g. hidden coins reminds me when you find hidden boxes
Jazz Jackrabbit - Secret in hidden walls was a common thing in such a platform game
Legend of Zelda - The HP looks nearly the same, let alone the fire sword improved when you got full HP you shoot fireballs, similar way when you shoot a magic sword when your HP is full in older Zelda games, same map similarities.
DK 64 - You had to solve certain puzzles with different characters, this is similar in this game where you need a certain transformation in order to procceed obstacle.
Rayman Origin - The difficulty of every area is quite high and requires good response.

So for those, who played either of these games in their childhood or past, I recommend to give this a try! ^_^

At the first impression I thought... "Farming Game... nothing for me".
However, after playing it for a while, my view to this game changed completily.

It is very fun to play as it offers considerable amount of opportunities and allowing to customize your own farm the way you like. You can even do other activities and unlock some storyline from npc's. Additionally, the multiplayer has been excellent designed.

In overall, I strongly recommend this game to those who loves being flexibel especially. ^^
