This game is definitely worth every cent i spent on it. I love the mechanics and the campaign has had me spend 100's of hours enjoying it. the graphics are beautiful and i love the multiplayer battles and sieges. if you're new to the total war franchise then this or medieval 2 are both brilliant starts and introductions to the TW gaming series.

There are plenty of mods out there for this which increases replayability and allows you to fight battles from LOTR, GOT & more. The battles aren't as satisfying as medieval 2's longer battles but this is probably the second best in terms of battles in the total war series.

With everything i have said above I just want to add in that Attila Total War, has a campaign unique among all other total war titles with it's survival, apocalypse style gameplay. It boosts amazing features, UI, Gameplay and the hardest campaign ever to be found in a total war game in the form of the Western Roman Empires, Legendary play through.

All in all, this is and always will be my favourite total war game of all time! It is unrivalled in sheer power and epicness by any other game in the total war franchise.

EDIT 07/05/2022: It's been quite a while since I wrote this review and my game time has nearly doubled since then, I will say that the Attila campaign is unique among all other Total War titles and is absolutely amazing to play. The multiplayer and the battles have just become even better in my eyes and I'd say now that I prefer Attila battles to Medieval 2 battles, though it is personal preference of course.

The modding scene, especially Rise Of Mordor/The Dawnless Days, 1212AD and Seven Kingdoms are among some of the most insane mods for breathing new life into attila and take you the player into a entirely new universe. Though the campaign mods are all not to be forgotten as you can really customise your campaign and make it much harder or more realistic or whatever you like as there is probably a mod that does whatever change you're looking for!
