(Maybe my first comment can be misinterpreted, I'm talking about looking at the configuration of your mod and see what you did, and not about uploading your files without any modifications.)

If I had my pc right now I would show you in a .txt everything I have planned for the mod, among these things is the possibility of vertically cutting the head in two equal parts, something that with the existing gibs in a decapitated head, should be possible.
I have many more ideas talking about effects, sound, script, but talking about them here would be too long, if you don't mind, I will send you a steam request and we can talk about our vision of how to improve the gore and I will show you everything I have planned so far, when I have my pc back, which should be tomorrow.

And regarding the head deformation, that makes me understand your take in the headshot effect and is something planned, like you, I have in mind to modify the fact that the head explodes, as something that is high caliber weapon exclusive, while the common response will be to use the existing deformation in SWAT weapons for example.

Something impressive that I have discovered and plan to modify in the future through script, is the different amount of variations already existing for the zeds, is not something impossible to do (I hope), because they are gibs that are already in the game but are not used, try to decapitate a clot, and kill another in a shot in the chest on a test map, deform both heads with shots and you will notice difference in the deformation of both.
