Black Desert has probably the worst starting UI I've seen to date, and I've tried Arc: Survival evolved.

There's no way back to the main menu to change your settings like volume. Once you've entered the server selection, you're locked in buddy.

Character creation is extremely clunky, with a hard to maneuver camera, not to mention the fact that the character constantly looks at the camera when you want to view other angles.

Sure, you can fully sculpt the face, there's no denying there's loads of creativity to be had there, but I simply cannot overlook the rest of the issues when it comes to the UI upon entering the game.

I don't feel the necessity to talk about the gender locked classes and the whole debacle about each of them, largely because I haven't played any of them at the time of writing.

As far as I can decipher, this game is more of a hero beat 'em up, akin to the likes of Warframe.

However, I cannot recommend this game with good consciousness while the UI is as clunky as it is.

(I may also be a little salty because the game crashed during character creation, but that should be fairly understandable lol.)

I also feel it's worth mentioning that this game requires a subscription in order to play the PvE side of the game, and once the season ends, you can no longer use that character for the next season.

Tf2 has been one of the longest running and still standing games both on steam and in it's genre. Weather that's due to it's gameplay stability or dedicated community I can't say, but what I can say is that it's well worth your energy, let alone your time.

Yes there are bots at times and yes there's toxic/cheating people, but overall if you're looking for a game that will give you some good memories for years to come, this is one of those games that I have to recommend, even if you just play every once and awhile or play on a non-valve server.

Your best bet if you love playing a mage character. I have not seen ANY other survival craft game with better magic and it saddens me that that's the case.
