I've had this game on my wishlist for over 4 years, and never purchased it... 4 long years of trials and tribulation, leading all the way to where the world is now with this Codvid 19 thing around the globe. I cannot believe I had such a valuable treasure chest, just waiting to be unlocked...
I can't remember when was the last time that an adventure/3D platformer game left both an impact and impression on me. Interestingly enough, A Hat In Time is an Indie 3D Platformer that took inspiration from Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, Spyro the Dragon and Psychonauts, so that should be enough to interest the curiosity of the mind.

A Hat In Time took me on a fun imaginative adventure with Hat Kid, and experience 4 beautifully different worlds (6 if you bought the dlcs :P.) The Rift Worlds are my most favorite, especially the Blue Rift Worlds, cause the song in the back is so pretty, It almost makes me a bit emotional. The Story was totally enjoyable, silly and funny, good cast of characters you'll love that are hilarious in their own way! I wish I could have bought this game earlier 4 years ago, but perhaps "time" had something else in mind, ehh???

The game is very short, especially if you're a speed runner, so with that in mind, you'll be near the end in no time. When I finished the 3rd world, I didn't wanted to continue and finish the game at all! But like most games, you buy 'em, you boot 'em up, you play 'em, and you finish 'em, so I kept going and going until I finally made it to the last world...

I'm being 100% honest here what I'm about to say: I felt happy, and energized, yet sad when I finished the game. And when I saw Hat Kid teared a bit at the last scene, it only made me sad the more, because all the adventures were over! Hat Kid got all her Time Pieces back and it was finally time for her to leave so she can continue to get back to her home. For such a short game, I felt as if my experience became - timeless, in this game.

A Hat In Time is just absolutely magnificent, simply original that it's unique, yet because it's unique, it's original, a never ending cycle! If you like Adventure/3D Platformer (like me =w=), then please... buy this game. Experience a wonderful work of art! You'll love the work that went in this craftsmanship! c(^w^c )
