the que system is absolutely horrible in this game... most games when you aren't playing ranked matches it still uses your ELO to que you with people of similar ELO usually ensuring a mostly fair fight. unless diamond and gold players have the standard starting 1200 ELO i don't understand why i get qued with them... so i'd say don't play any public game except for maybe the 4 player free-for-all unless you are experienced. otherwise expect to get your butt whooped.
