Are you saving again?

A couple days after I bought this game, my cat chewed up my VR headset cord and the replacements were to expensive. Fun game though.

Great game: very addictive, very fun, great movement (except for stun-lock taking forever and movement on boats being slower than politics), and good music. On the other side of things, the campaign missions are often repetitive, frustrating, or boring (partially due to music not playing during some of these missions). 7/10

Clarification: This is a campaign review.
Mediocre story, boring gameplay, and boring and generic music.

Roses are red, Cinder's theme is Inferno.
Mick Gordon's employment at ID may have been temporary, but DOOM is Eternal.

A good sourceport, however I do recommend porting the WAD file into a sourceport (GZDOOM is what I use) for mods, despite the recent addition of addons, which are limited however. Very playable and modern features such as the crosshair were a nice touch.

Very fun, great gameplay, great voice acting, good story (not completely direct though; made up for in codex entries), and weapons were good as always in Doom.
Side Note: I love how they made the Doomguy from the old games into an insane badass known as the Doom Slayer today
Overall, phenomenal game which brought a fresh breath of life into the series.

Graphics: Aged very well, still hold up pretty well in 2020, and help give the missions their own distinct feel.
Story: Entertaining, engaging, and gives the campaign added replayability
Difficulty: Fair and balanced
Gameplay: Smooth with good transitions and very few and well placed quick time events
Price: Justified, DLC is slightly overpriced but there's enough content to hold you over
Multiplayer: NUKETOWN!
Zombies: Very fun, unique, and KABOOM!
Rating: 9/10

Way better and way more fun than Half Life 2: Deathmatch.

Awesome game!
So far I love the concept and how unnecessarily destructive the game is. The objectives kept me exploring. I like how the music intensifies as the spider gets "angrier". The art style fits well and is well designed to keep the game creepy but not over the top. Overall, the game looks great from the demo and this seems like it would be a really fun game to play.
