Absolutely spectacular game, I literally can't stop playing.

it's what EmergeNYC was supposed to be.

Super, super fun game. Whether you wanna build, do administrative stuff, or just diagnose and treat people, you can do all or only one of those in this game. Very satisfying and with a strong set of workshop mods. The game's basically complete; no lingering bugs or incomplete features, this is really a success in game design.

Hidden gem of a game, great for CQB training and highly customizable. The many maps and difficulty settings prevent the game from being annoyingly predictable, and the dev works Very Hard. They're coming out with little but impactful updates literally every day, and I'm very excited for what this has in store next.

Despite that, it's not for you if you deeply care about visuals or can't deal with clunky ergonomics. In spite of those setbacks, it's otherwise a lovely game that I'm probably going to spend way too much time playing.

Absolutely love this game.

Wanna make a colony of nudist cannibal amine women who have a concerning affinity for aliens? Go ahead! Want to make a commune of anarcho-communist space furries with way too much sex? Easy! Want to commit actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ genocide? Piece of cake.

This game is the ultimate second-person survival sandbox. If you're questioning whether or not to get this, get it. I find it hard to understand how you could regret it.

I'm disappointed.

I've played this game for years, as you can see. When I first got it, the game was booming and promising as ever. Incredible fun. It still is fun, by all respects... but it's withering. The last active, 30+ player communities died months ago. The last "major update" was laughably empty of content, while there's still much more that needs to be added and improved. Multiplayer is unplayable, yet the game is only so fun by yourself. Combat is laughable at best.

Get this game if you like to build and can play by yourself. I can't build but I'm fine by myself, but I'm getting tired of it all. There's nothing to grind because career mode was thrown in the trash by the devs years ago.

If nothing else, this game is sad. It could've been so much more. Maybe it will be, I don't know.

edit: the most recent update has proven the game is done. don't consider buying this. it's literally only gotten worse, and i've been called unreasonably optimistic on games before.
