First impressions:

Honestly a nice kingdom rush clone. Its strongest point would definitely be its visuals. Everything is well animated and the environment has plenty of character like people going about their day or sillier things like a kung fu chicken.

Well there isnt much here mechanically that kingdom rush hasnt done already they do have alot more flare about it than actual kingdom rush. Like the upgrade tree. In kingdom rush its just a skill tree. Functional but nothing else about it really. Here they made the upgrade tree into an army camp, everything you upgrade something the buildings become better, over time it would grown into a thriving town. Again, functionally its exactly the same as a normal skill tree but its got alot more visual flare to it so I really like it.

Another thing they did differently than kingdom rush would be the day night cycle. Like in KR times of day has different effects on gameplay such as stronger enemies and what not. But here they expanded on that but also having different weather condition that apply different buffs and debuffs. Its not anything super revolutionary but it is very much appreciated to break up the gameplay loop

Some critics I have is the sound mixing. Sometimes things are too loud or too quite. There also the lack of impact on some animations and sound like the lightning strike. It just doesnt feel powerful when you use it. Comparing this game's lightning strike to KR Origins is night and day. And finally the last thing is the english is god awful. Its clearly been google translated and is down right incomprehensible alot of times. But at the end of the day it doesnt matter much as anyone whos played kingdom rush can easily navigate the game. Still, good luck trying to understand the story with the machine translations lol

In conclusion I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys tower defense games. Not a bad experience for more or less 5 bucks.

Edit: Played a bit more and there are different gamemodes too. Like protecting objectives and retrieving it using units when objective is lost. Doesnt really fit the normal tower defense style gameplay but I think its pretty cool. Something I havent seen before and stands out just for the novelty alone.

Game is amazing. super fun deckbuilder. tho i wish the in game wiki showered more than just the sprite, it would be nice to be able to see a illustration of the character along side their movesets and maybe even some flavor text like their background story. it would give the enemies so much more personality

Solid gameplay, Horrible launch, but they stuck with it through thick and thin and now its a game good enough that I've decided to spend money on it to show my support for the work they put in to make it better

Fun game, reminds me of ravenfield. Though its missing alot of content, only 2 gamemodes so fair and no unlockables, everything including hosting singleplayer lobbies and all currently "Available" cosmetics are locked behind a paywall, its only $5 is unlock everything but its still kind of annoying. It doesnt give players any sense of progression for playing. Other then general lack of content the gameplay is pretty solid, only bad thing I could say about it is that there is a weird crosshair snapping thing..? everything you move your mouse the crosshair just snaps to the place youre looking instead of turning over if that makes any sense, doesnt break the game or anything just super annoying. I look forward to seeing how this game develops.

My first armored core game and its great. If you like mechs this is the game for you, not that we mech enjoyers have much choice anyways since the mech genre is so limited in gaming. Either way this is a solid edition to our collection lol

Didnt know what I was getting into but by god was it not fun as hell. I died alot earlier one cause I went in thinking it was run and gun which got me kill alot. Honestly I didnt expect to enjoy a cover shooter so much with a cowboy theme so much lol
