Before I played Mechabellum i had an extremely small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.

So far the idea of auto-battle strategy seems it would be fun. In practice, I think I was already starting to feel it become repetitive after about an hour.

I'll probably check it out again later if the add an undo button.

By the way: I thought I was just doing it wrong, but found there is apparently there NO "undo" functionality when deploying units even in offline solo play and even during the PLACEMENT of UNITS TUTORIAL? What in the world ..?

I would suggest that particularly during solo offline play at least, a player should be able to undo each action or even reset the turn to the last game state if SO MUCH of the winning of any match is reliant upon correct placement of units at the start of the round...

1600 MMR player here. Can't recommend as auto battler. Was better a year ago and fun, but that game has gone from bad to worse since.

Too much randomness, especially the random cards that can be completely gamebreaking. Whoever gets luckier with their own combination and new cards has a massive advantage. The starting units and bonus is also randomized and has extreme power differences. To make all that randomness worse one can only build 2, maybe 3 units per round, so switching strategy to something else is hardly doable.

Apart from that it is horribly imbalanced. Some combinations are ridiculously OP and new units released are often completely over the top, without thinking about synergies or how a new unit is so much better in several areas other units are no longer worth taking.

For example the addition of Hound just made all other chaff units worthless. With a 200 point ability to fire rockets set the ground on fire and melt them all while they walk though. Since hound is a cheap chaff clean unit, that is going to happen all over the board. Combined with other units that spray oil around opponents can litteraly set half of the board on fire and autokill everything on the ground. Good luck switching to air or building units that clean up the fire while you can only build 2-3 units per turn.
