ETG is a roguelike shooter game. I don't really dislike the game, just giving it a thumbs down cause I have a mixed feelings after 15 hours, some reviewers say its a hard game, well maybe with a starting weapon on floor 3 and above. I dont really have any issues with difficulty, but there are some other things plaguing this game that made me feel like its a younger, less talented brother of Binding of Isaac. Anyway

pros
- graphics are nice
- music is good
- lot of stuff to unlock and progress toward
- if you like guns there are many here (2A represent)

cons
- achivement based progress (and the achievements are really rough to get in the beginning)
- visual clutter (some rooms there is just too much spam you dont really know what hit you)
- lot of useless guns
- passive pickups are poorly explained (I dont want to google stuff while playing)
- after 10 hours early game becomes a slog

If you are a fan of roguelikes there is some nice gameplay here, and I will probably grind some stuff, cause I am not bored yet, but the genre is so vast and expansive now, that Enter the Gungeon feels a little bit awkward at times.

Final Score
7/10
