This game has rapidly become one of my favorite turn based RPGs of all time for various reasons. It would take too long so I'll just break it down into a few simple things.

The Graphics
Clean and simple, they aren't anything special to look out, especially not the ingame sprites, but everything still looks nice and like it came out of the mind of Lovecraft himself. Its very unique and stands out among most anime-style RPGs with this art style, but of course, if it had an anime style, I would be somewhat disappointed , given the content.

The Music
Holy ♥♥♥♥ this is good. While you can just find most of the soundtrack online (Posted by the creator and composer no less), buying the ancestral addition and having it available at any time was amazing. I find myself listening to the soundtrack without the game. Its seriously a stroke of musical genius. Stuart Chadwood does terrific work here.

The Story:
Won't spoil much here, but the story and lore is what you would expect from a lovecraft inspired RPG. Its dark, its terrifying, it gives you the feeling that not everything is right with the world, and its all supplemented by some absolutely terrific work by Wayne June, who does the narration for the entire game, and does a great job. The lore of the game is something tremendous, and just the intro is exactly something Lovecraft himself would make.

That covers most everything, the game is fairly easy to run fo rany computer, it isnt too big and its something I consistently come back to. I can't wait for the sequel. TLDR this game is a solid 10 and hits it on the mark, but beware of difficult gameplay that punished you as hard as the game punishes the characters in it.
