What an amazing game this is. Truly went well beyond my expectations. The game manages to create an emotional and enjoyable story, with well developed characters, excellent score and beautiful visuals. It manages to tie in all the previous stories into an larger cohesive narative. In addition, it shows that the developers listened to fans following the reception of Syberia 3, and I'm grateful for that, as this game certainly lives up to the final legacy of our dear Benoit Sokal.

The game optimization is very good overall and I've had only one bug throughout the entire playthrough. In some spaces moving can be clunky (although I did play with a mouse and keyboard, so I guess controller might be smoother).

In any case, this is truly a masterpiece in the Syberia series, worthy of every praise.

9/10

I'm just curious, how do you make a tram simulator, which needs the newest gaming computer to run it? I've played some games in my life (and many, many simulators) and never did it happen to me that I couldn't run a game. The FPS in this game is so bad, optimization non-existent (you can literally change the graphics option to the lowest, you will get maybe 2-5 FPS more).

I don't even wanna mention the fact that there are maybe 10-15 human models and 10 car models which often come next to each other so you will see clones of 5 people walking right next to one another. The fact you can't change weather!!! The announcement is done automatically with no involvment of the player. Lights turn on and off automatically too. People never talk, there are no buses or trucks. Nothing feels alive or real (and I thought that was the point). I won't even mention the fact that the price for this is like 200% more than what you objecively get.

This product is not worth it at all. Instead of focusing on the VR and new DLCs, the devs should first make this game playable. It's not worth it and don't buy it. I'm so sorry this game turned out this way.

Call of Cthulhu is a first-person adventure/thriller game which isn't (unfortunately) a sequel to the 2005 version Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. It's by no means a perfect game and has quite a lot issues:

PROS:
-engaging story
-interesting protagonist
-RPG elements
-good atmosphere most of the time
-good overall dialogue
-good music
-Cthulhu Mythos references
-good locations
-no major bugs (at least through my playthrough)

CONS:
-narrative is sometimes all over the place (sometimes the story is hard to follow or doesn't make much sense)
-too much green filter
-while the game makes many references to Cthulhu and the Mythos it doesn't capitalise on that and insted relies too much on cliches
-most characters lack caracterisation, therefore it's impossible to have an emotional attachment to them and their motives are less clear
-too many hallucinations
- while it is possible to have different dialogue options they all pretty much lead to the same result

Despite the issues, I enjoyed playing the game and would recommend it to the fans of the Mythos. I still think that the 2005 adaptation is better. If you are a fan of the Mythos or 2005 game give this one a go and see for yourself.

Rate: 7/10

Skyrim was the first Elder Scrolls game I played and Morrowind was the last, but I must admit that Morrowind, while not graphically powerful as Skyrim is the best of the last three ES games. It has the best and most creative story, there are far more magic possibilities and you need to work hard to accomplish something. Sound and graphic overhaul is easy to install and it really improves the gaming experience. For anyone who likes older RPG games, and who is an ES fan, this is a must have.

Ok I just finished the game after two weeks and since I am a huge fan of the original Syberia I really wanted to like this game. Of course I saw the reviews on Steam but I thought "It can't be that bad"; well it can, and I will try to explain why.

Good sides:
-Kate Walker has the same voice actress
-graphics are beautiful
-the world is very detailed
-the lore is expanded
-the story continues with Kate now going on her adventure (remember that finding Syberia was Hans's dream/adventure while Kate tried to find herself)
-the music is beautiful and interesting (great job Inon Zur!)

Bad sides:
-the story is ok but not even close to being as magical as is the case with Syberia 1 and 2
-voice acting ranges from ok to bad and some of the voices are very unfitting (Olga!)
-the graphics are badly optimised
-while the music is beautiful it is repeating
-I noticed the lack of "sounds of nature" (wind, waves, birds,...)
-controls are horrible
-bad voice synchronisation
-camera view is horrible
-there are many bugs
-puzzles are very often boring and predictable
-I felt the lack of progress trough the story
-Oscar lost his personality
- almost all of the characters lack personality
-the ending is horrible
-because of the bad ending, the entire story seems pointless

Overall:
I would not say that this is a horrible game; I hope that with a few patches most of the bugs will get fixed, but Syberia 3 is not a sequel people were waiting for more than a decade. The game is not worth 40 euro's. If you are a big fan of the original Syberia you should play it to see for yourself, but I can't recommend it.
