On freezing nights like these,
under heavy rain,
taking in the chilly breeze,
I feel only pain,
still don’t want to freeze.
Let me ease your strain,
injured, on my knees,
I won’t let you drain.

So many, many stars,
all shine above your head.
Are they really far?
Have I been misled?
Should I try to spar?
For what have I bled?

Always hoped to see a path,
yet I’m stuck, lying here.
Accepting the aftermath,
eyes forming a tear.
Enjoying this frigid bath,
before you disappear.

On freezing nights like these,
I can’t seem to forget,
taking in the chilly breeze,
the day on which we met,
still don’t want to freeze.
Wait, I’m not ready yet,
injured, on my knees,
there’s a lot I regret.

You are slowly fading,
despite all I’ve tried,
now I’m simply waiting,
all the tears I cried.
My vision is shading,
without you by my side.

The cold makes me shiver,
taking one last breath,
tears making all shimmer,
on the verge of death.
With nothing in my liver,
the grass shall be my bed,
my blood can be a river.
