After dozens of hours in the original and a few in this one I'm convinced the more I play it the worse I get and the more I hate Elves.

Bethesda moved from fantasy to space because they realised they could fling more corpses with low gravity than with Giant clubs.

In all honesty, go into this expecting more Fallout 3 than No Man's Sky (along with a bit of Mass Effect for the hub worlds) and you'll enjoy it a lot more than if you were expecting a non-tech demo version of Star Citizen

This is not the best total war game but is far from being the worst.

There is something exciting about being able to wage war in a time where truth and myth are one.
Saying that, sadly for the best experience you need to buy the Mythos DLC. It feels that the "truth behind the myth" mode was more of an experiment that did not truly respect the culture and mythology of the Ancient Greeks. The introduction of mythical units and the gods provide more depth to one of the more shallow Total War games (then again it is a Saga game, they are made to be more simple).
The environments are also some of the greatest in the series. From the daunting peaks of Mt. Olympus on the world map, to the discarded armour of the Titans in the background of battles gives the game a more epic feeling.

All in all, Troy acts mostly as a way to scratch that ancient itch that Creative Assembly have only just begun to give more love with this and Rome: Remastered. Of course for the most entertaining experience you have to be fine with aspects on the mythological side of the legendary war.

I give Troy 7/10 eagle picked livers

This is a review I hate writing simply for the fact I love the previous two games in the series. There are many major issues with the game, ranging from the minor issue of the slapped on alt fires to the pointless "front line combat" that make the game a pain to go through (not to mention the campaign being a greater slog than those before, but the campaign has never been the focus of a Just Cause game, its always been the gameplay).
Possibly the greatest issue is the boring and repetitive nature of the liberation objectives which seem to lack less inspiration than any of the previous games. It is worrying when the DLC for a game offer a more enjoyable experience than the base game (although, it is a bit interesting how the last two DLCs take on a Just Cause 3 style of gameplay).
All in all, no matter how WACKY the weather system is, it only helps to distract you from a slog of a game which is less rewarding than having your nervous system french braided.

If you have the choice, don't play this dross, play 2 or 3. At least then you can waste your time with satisfaction

-Raiders take my milk
-I take their lives
-Get my milk back
-One of them is still alive and chops off my best gardener's left leg with a butter knife
-Gardener dies of an infection because no one could plant the herbal medicine he needed
-Wait 2 weeks until one of my colonists can make medicine
-Lose 5 of my colonists because one of them breaks a wire connected to hydroponics in a tantrum which I don't see for way too long

10/10 would kill off colonists in avoidable famine again.

Early Access Review
I have been playing this game in the free version for about a year so when I found out the game was coming to steam I was quite excited. Most people have been avoiding it because of the steep price but there is still a community in this game. You have the people who roleplay to their heart's content or those who won't even turn on their mic (yeah there's voice chat now). This is a game that is the equivalent of Space Station 13 underwater, it has crew mechanics, random catastrophes and is damn fun to play with friends.

I rate Barotrauma an 8 out of 10 on the chunk scale.

God I can't even begin to say how amazing it is when you finish the story, mainly because I haven't finished it yet but still the gameplay is great, the maps are great, the mods are great, hell even the gitches are great. The only problem are the the timed missions, but everyone's already talked about them
