Such a beautiful, peaceful, other-worldly game. Drifting through some kind of mythic, Nordic afterlife, helping 'forlorn' souls along their way... Wonderful.

I love this game! Low-stakes casual gaming, it's got just enough of an intellectual challenge, a spark of creativity, and super-simple gameplay. A plus for me, is that there's no urgency, no time limit - contrast this with Mini Motorways, which I also love, but which leaves me feeling more anxious than when I started! Freeways on the other hand is great for a 5mins chill experience. One of the games I open up when I'm on my laptop a train or plane, for example. For a couple of euro-dollar, give it a try!

I really wanted to love this little toolbox game, crafting a fantasy world to render a map. But it's clear that it's somebody's pet project - and not in a good way (to be fair, the creator was clear that this was a one-man labour of love). This could have been great, but a combination of an un-intuitive interface, and frankly ugly art choices, means it holds no joy for me at all. An example of the maker's creative choice - curved fences on farmland. Instead of fences that are in straight sections, the whole length of the fence is curved, like some kind of acid trip. Hard to explain this in words, but they look fugly and bizarre. Likewise, the strange purple sea. Like, if your default choice of sea colour is going to be *purple* at least give me an option to change it to something that looks more like... the sea? Like blue, or grey, or green??

I imagine that some could find it a genuinely useful tool for designing their RPG worlds. But if you just want to doodle, you might find it lacks that spark of fun.
