Recent survey they did polled some stupid ass questions about membership. Here's the gist.

Tiered memberships (lower cost options mean you have to see ads in-game). Higher tiered memberships equals: better account security, more account features such as having more characters under membership, increased AFK timers, exclusive world access (blatant P2W features)

The backlash was immediate with thousands of people unsubscribing from their memberships.

Jagex CEO puts out an "apology" filled with doublespeak and corpo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that no one cares about. It's so obvious that you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are going to put stuff in the game that are solely for filling your pockets.

Private equity companies are parasites.
Don't feed these bottom-feeding leeches.
Don't support these stupid ass business tactics.
Vote with your wallet. Unsubscribe your membership.
You think we won't leave en masse like we did with Evolution of Combat? FAFO.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the private equity company currently in ownership of Jagex is CVC Capital Partners. The name alone screams "greedy corporation." ♥♥♥♥ these parasitic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Yeah, just gonna say this right now.

Bungie deserves to crash and burn. Upper management does not give a damn about the player base or their devs. They're clearly betting on Marathon being a success. SPOILERS, IT WON'T.

Why, you ask? It may possibly be due to:
1. it's basically confirmed to be a "hero" extraction shooter (which no one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ asked for).
2. They've burnt literally every bridge they've made in regard to community sentiment, developer morale, and "willingness to play the game" because some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ can't stop buying cars while cutting jobs that would help the game in the long run.

Destiny 2 is basically just going to be dead in the water due to reduced development combined with the fact that no one gives a ♥♥♥♥ about this game anymore since we killed the Witness.

The remaining developers atp should be seeking a different company because it's all setting up to Bungie being absorbed by Sony. I feel bad, since this game has been a good part of my life for the past decade, but I can no longer stand behind these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practices.

And the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ part about this entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fiasco is that the golden parachute exists. Those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ managing leeches will be just fine, they'll just go mooch off some other unfortunate company stupid enough to hire these clowns.

Once you have one of those "phenomenal runs," it's too late. You're never leaving again.

This game, as well as a select few others, have changed the way I look at games. I used to be one of those kind of gamers who played Call of Duty and went ♥♥♥♥ YEAH, SHOOTING! and all that, but after playing games such as Dark Souls, this game, and a little gem called Risk of Rain, it changed my perspective on video games.


The music and the visuals of this game puts me at a loss for words. It's simply stunning. And once you figure out the lore behind the characters and the story itself, and how the game was influenced by the creator, The creator of this game actually was struggling with a fatal illness while he was making this game. It seems fitting somehow. you see the true beauty that is this game.

Of course, we come to combat. It may be a little iffy at the beginning, and you may dash off and kill yourself a lot trying to dodge that one attack, but once you memorize your controls, as well as enemy attack patterns, you find yourself wiping the floor with these incompetent fools with grace, or sometimes with a decapitation.

There's also a massive incentive to explore every nook and cranny of the map. I've only found half of the gear sets in the game, and I already beat the final boss. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate Judgement with his charged beam ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Trust me, the gear you find in the game will be worth it if you put the time in.

There's also a NG+ option, which cuts your health basically in half, and throws you against stronger enemies and bosses. A good challenge for those masochists.

Then, once you've wrapped that up, there's a boss rush mode that allows you to challenge all the bosses in a timed run. You have limited access to healing supplies, and they don't respawn either. There are 3 modes for boss rush, but I'll let you figure that out on your own, should you buy this game.


None. I couldn't really find a flaw in this game. I just liked it that much.

Attempt #1: Get a few items, die to Magma Worm thinking, "WTF is that?"

Attempt #10: Finally reach the Temple level, get swarmed by mini-boars and die cursing.

Attempt #18: Reach the final boss, destroy its ass on the "HAHAHAHAH" difficulty, and leave the planet while telling it to burn in hell.

10/10, would tell a planet to go **** itself again
