Disappointed. I'm sorry but i absolutely did not resonate with this one, i could not care for the story nor the characters. Jacob was just an insufferable person i wished would just shut up once. Theres a whole ass life threatening emergency going on and he can't shut up about books and other uninteresting things. In fact none of them were really interested in these anomalies. Whenever there's an urgent event happening, they both just slow down to a snail's pace to talk about something meaningless. Combine that with some movement bugs and repeating conversation bugs, it was a slough. I have played the first one and i must have misunderstood the story because this one did not make sense to me I thought Alex and co. escaped? Also who are the people i see in the flashbacks? Is Rex my current son in my belly i see in the future? Is he a different child? Am i a teen? Am i really 50? Why should i care about this Rex child, i could not connect with him at all. I could not sympathize with Olivia either, the final choice was unclear to me storywise or motivationwise. I also do not really understand what have i've done or accomplished. In the closing stats i genuinely could not remember who was Evelyn and how did i help at all. I do not wish to give thumbs down, i don't usually do that, i appreciate all the effort and passion that goes into a project like this. I guess Oxenfree 1 put the bar too high up for me. That or i just sympathize and relate to a gang of teenagers more given my age. Keep up the good work guys, not everything is everyone's cup of tea and if other people really liked it, don't just listen to my lone sorrow ass's review.

Giving a positive review just simply for the fact that they revived this, removed the stupid windows DRM thanks to which i could not even launch the game at all, fixed bugs, added translations and verified for steam deck!
This game is a classic anyway deservant of the positive review. There were 1-2 crashes initially, the menu button prompt hints are still showing xbox buttons and the music is not the same as FO2 but other than that, its great

It does get easier beleive me. And when it does, man you will enjoy it.

Honestly, the most beautiful game i ever played. Period.
I finished it and had to buy the digital deluxe because the developers deserve it truly.
I cannot stop pushing this gem to my friends, although they probably hate me already.
You will cry like a little ♥♥♥♥♥, and that´s okay, that´s good! Let it all out!
I´m not gonna repeat everything the other reviews have already stated,
just... play it. HMU i´ll share my library, play with remote play whatevs, just do it.

I came for the mods

The perfect couch game for a drunken party-gamenight with up to 8 horrible and immature players. Guaranteed neverending laughs and judging stares.

A VAST GIGANTIC open world with tons of things to see, tons of content and tons of things to do for only 10€, who would miss out an opportunity like this?

Ah only one more turn and i´ll go to sleep.
