This game is great and hopefully sony doesn't get any other ideas for the game.

VRC started out as a good platform for meeting new people and making friends, however the lack of moderation is a serious problem. I suffer from severe motion sickness and sensory issues with lights so people with flashy avatars and avatars that can pick you up, are the absolute worse. People can do this without the use of mods so the EAC update will do nothing to help me with my sensory issues. I am aware I am partially responsible for my own safety when going on this platform, but I shouldn't have to fear for my own safety by someone that targets me simply because they don't like the furry model I am using.

There is nothing worse than being violently thrown around by a child in VRC while I try to block them but I can't because I am about to barf.

I have been crashed by people so many times simply for entering a world. Even if I have their model blocked with my safety settings, they can still crash me by overloading the server with shaders. I have had to hard reset my computer many times because of this. Why is there no shader limit on avatars for VRC? and if there is, how can I enable it?

With the new updates, there should be better moderation on avatars. NSFW models should continue to be allowed, since there is an nsfw flag option in unity when uploading models to VRC. However there should be bans on models that promote hate speech, self harm, scams etc. I have seen many hitlers, the cop that was involved with George Floyd and many more. The fact that these models are still allowed on the platform but NSFW models being used by consenting adults are being punished, make no sense.

Overall, if VRC is going to add EAC and "security updates" to the game, disabling and punishing me for using mods that protect me from harmful users, then they should change their avatar policies, heavier moderation and shader limits to stop crashers from completely destroying my pc.

I do not suggest this game for people that suffer from issues like mine, this game is great for sharing creations and talking to people, but the amount of harassment, inappropriate avatars and lack of moderation does not make it worth it.

This game is still fun after all these years.
I heavily recommend it to people you have and haven't played the original. It looks amazing.
It plays very smoothly(I played with an xbox one controller), and loading times are super fast.
The amount of time spent simply on making it look nice really shows.
Overall its a fun platforming collect-a-thon with tons of references and memes to the original 3 seasons of spongebob, give this game a try.


The only thing I don't like is being promised original cut content only to find nothing really being added besides the multiplayer. I don't really care for the multiplayer either, robo squiddy is cool but its not a very intense fight and its missing cool boss music.
I did stumble on some minor geometry bugs like there being invisible walls next to the chump bucket. There are also minor audio bugs where sponegbob's bubble bowl cuts out, he repeats dialogue in some areas constantly or he doesn't say anything at all. When fighting the weather robots he will say the dialogue meant for the sleeping robot.

These bugs are very minor and only people who have played the original religiously would notice it, overall i give this game an 8/10.

It's a good game to play with friends for just something to do. You don't have to pay attention to a story and it isn't complicated.
The game isn't the greatest, there are a lot of bugs and issues with connecting to my friend's server. Just prepare to exit the game and join back in when something buggy happens.
