For such a simple premise Beat Saber ended up really surprising me and becoming one of my favorite rhythm games. While I won't commend the developers for only adding licensed music packs from artists who I frankly don't enjoy, and for relying so much on community support and mods, (Especially now that they're owned by Facebook) the multiplayer is fun, and custom songs are fantastic if you're willing to put in the time to become good enough to play them. Speaking of Oculus, this works great on my Rift CV1 and my Quest, but I've had issues with my Index, and needing to tweak controller settings, or hold them weirdly to play effectively, and even then it still feels a bit off. It's just a shame this never goes on sale, because $30 is a bit steep, and the DLC isn't worth buying at all unless you really like the bands. At the end of the day, if you like rhythm games and own a VR headset, you won't be disappointed picking this one up.

Edit: This works much better on my Index now. I have also tested with a Quest 2, Vive, Vive Cosmos, and Reverb G2, all of which worked great. That being said, I am currently trying to get every achievement, and have discovered that high scores, total play time, total score, and other stats do not cloud save. As a result, I had to start all over again for several achievements since I switched computers. For this reason, and the immense pain that it will put you through, I cannot recommend attempting the achievement, "Flawless." As I write this, my arms feel numb, and I fear that I might collapse at any moment. My final thoughts then are that this game is absolutely amazing, so long as you don't play the campaign, and you're finger doesn't slip and accidentally buy the BTS music pack.
