I get to the part where they put you out in the open instead of having fun running around and quit the game

This game keeps getting to points where its more testing my patience but when I wanna be done it wont actually save my progress and I have to replay parts ive already played.
I enjoy most of the gameplay but not enough to make it a recommend.

Im missing so many tricks...

The experience get's bogged down by the rng of the dicerolls and I wished they used a different system.
The graphics look good with little bugs, exploration can be fun and the character interactions are a blast.
The rng just really brings the pace to a halt especially during combat and it feels like there's no strategy.
The only control I feel like I have is constant quicksaving which makes the pacing worse but its the only way to not always get a party wipe. I wouldnt mind turn based combat but I just dont know how to strategies with the dice.
In a irl dnd sesh the dm (in my experience) always makes the bad outcomes entertaining or fudges their own dice to not punish the players harshly or reward them more but with the computer in BG3 there's nothing like that.
The great character scenes keep me immersed but I can not wait till some studio puts the same effort in to a more action rpg type game.
I wouldve also personally liked a bit more linearity and more explanations on some game mechanics.

This has been my experience so far, the characters keep hooking me in but theyre carrying this game a little too hard. I personally think the game is overhyped even if im enjoying parts of it.

I would actually like to know what others think cause i feel like im in the minority on this game.

Kinda get's carried too much by it's concept than the puzzles and by the end it felt like a drag.
Also felt nauseous after every so often.

Perfect game for co-op which it doesn't really have

Creative is pretty fun but kinda basic and you can't safe your game

For a free game it's not all too bad but I like how pro adds nothing of value for 100$... a year... as a subscription, nice.
