So far I'm enjoying the game for what it is, but it doesn't seem to believe in itself at all.

Enemies simply despawn right in front of you as you transition from a complete mission to the mission map as if they were ghosts and never meant anything to begin with. Barely any of the characters are even remotely compelling and have terrible writing and some of the lowest effort (AI?) voice acting with lots of legitimate recording errors and audio glitching. The lip syncing doesn't seem to be localized or just wasn't properly polished and makes it feel like the game launched in 2011. The props and assets in the game are inappropriately sized to the characters like gigantic pistols being held in tiny hands. Lots of this feels rushed but it really didn't have to be.

Obviously 90% of the production budget went to the art and monetization flow of the game. The art direction is nice and probably the best thing about this game. Some guns are really satisfying, but there is such little variety between them that you might as well just have a handful like in Anthem. The monetization is just okay but there's not enough game here to play that could justify purchasing and using any of the paid cosmetics.

None of these cons are unfixable, but the game's just really barebones right now compared to its f2p coop action game competitors like Destiny and especially Warframe. Pass for now.
