It's a great addition to the Huey and really does the module justice. All the triggers worked just fine and ran into very few issues.

As for computer performance it was mostly good. However, there were some notable moments. Anderson AFB has a lot of static and moving objects. Aside from a lag hiccup here and there it usually wasn't an issue. That was until mission 11 anyway, for a majority of that mission the simulator would be fine for a few minutes then freeze for about a minute. I still managed to complete it, but it's a real shame as the mission itself was really fun spare for the lag. Do keep in mind I run a mediocre computer at best & have the simulator running on a lower graphic setting.

Something also noteworthy is all the static & moving objects around the apron & parking areas. There's so many of them, it felt like I was hovering over a minefield. My worst fear was completing a whole mission then hit a moving truck on the apron & subsequently blow up. Fortunately this didn't happen, but the close calls were plentiful.

Those two nitpicks are really my only complaints. One of which could reasonably be attributed to my hardware.

Most of the missions only took roughly an hour to complete. Longest one being about an hour & a half. That's really good, it's long enough to where you feel accomplished & are able to enjoy the experience. But not so long that your hand starts to cramp. Remember, flying helicopters is a lot of work just to stay airborne and stable.

In terms of difficulty it definitely stands out as being a hard campaign. However, it didn't feel unfair. You're going to need to know some basics before going in such as IFR flying, radio navigation, cold start procedures. As well as some more difficult skills such as sling loading & formation flying the AI. If you're just getting into helicopters or the Huey I would suggest familiarizing yourself with all of the aforementioned skills before you give the campaign a try. However, I could totally see a new helo pilot getting through this campaign successfully, albeit with a fair amount of struggles.

This is a solid campaign all around, It's well worth the 10 dollar asking price. There was a lot of passion put into this campaign & it shows. They did a fantastic job at giving us a proper Vietnam experience, down to the smallest detail. All of the missions are very polished & nothing felt out of place or unreasonable.

This is something that almost anyone can pick up and enjoy. If you enjoy modding the game supports that, if you just want a casual game to play every now and again this could be the game for you. Are you more into making more detailed layouts? The game is designed in a way to where you could make it as little detailed to as well detailed as possible.

Simulators are very much a niche, most simulators fall into either being overly complex and difficult to get into, or stupidly simple that isn't close to real life. Rolling line is very unique in the sense that it can be either. I've made not so realistic or detailed layouts and enjoyed doing so. I just finished a 40 hour project of making a very detailed and long layout, I enjoyed that too.

It also enjoys the bonus of being easy to run, the low poly artstyle makes it good for low end pcs

If you have the slightest interest in trains but don't want to learn the overly complex nature of them then this game is a great way to get into it.

If you can't afford a real model layout or don't have enough space this game allows you to make layouts to your hearts content.

best 20 dollars I've spent.

This is an amazing game & by far the best Vietnam FPS out there. The community although small, is tight nit. Sadly the developers have stopped development of this game. However, the community keeps it alive with at least 3-8 full servers at any given point and the community has map making abilities. If you're expecting to play this game like battlefield you'll quickly learn that isn't going to work in this. This game requires teamwork throughout the entire echelons of the team in order to secure a victory. In addition there are a few roles that require loads of practice and patience. However, just being a grunt doesn't make you feel at a disadvantage or make you feel like you've been handed the short staw.

Before i start my review i would like to note that i have never flown a aircraft outside of the simulator so i cannont accuretly say if the aircraft is realistic or not.

After flying both the 742 and the 743 i have come to the conclusion of a few things. Number one being that the aircraft does actually work unlike what some reviews have stated. Number two is this isn't your defualt 747 these aircraft are big, heavy and sluggish just as you would expect a actual 747 to be. Number three is that the cockpit is very intimidating there are lots of switches and dials and the autopilot is not the easiest to handle. Given these facts after flying the 742 and 743 i think most of the bad rep given to this addon is due to pilot error. Such as some say it's impossible to takeoff however if you trim it correctly make sure you set your fuel and payload before starting the flight and turned on To/ga you should have no problem getting off the ground. I would like to add though the wings aren't that great in terms of creating lift which from what i can gather is realistic as these 2 aircraft are known for their long takeoff rolls.

Let's get into some of the features firstly there are over 30 aircraft in this addon and the reason for that is actually really cool. You get both the 200 and 300 but both models get different payload layouts such as half passanger half cargo full cargo etc however the really interesting thing is you get different engine variatons eatch of which have different characteristics. Secondly you do get a FMC however from what i can gather as i am horrible with the FMC is you can only load Fs flightplans, take that with a grain of salt but if you're looking to learn the FMC i would reccomend the Embraer 175-195 addon which is also on steam. Thirdly this review is getting quite long so i'll just say all of the listed features on the offical steam page are actually there you get the wingflex, copilot sounds you even get the option to dump fuel.

I'm going to wrap this up with glitches i encountered and what i think this addon should have included. First the glitches, i didn't encounter a lot of them the main one was a rendering glitch with the airframe and cockpit however this is due to the fact that i run a lot of addons and freewear so my computer was having trouble handling the details of the 742 and 743 however this problem can be solved by turned down your graphics or temporarly moving some addon planes out of your airplanes folder and putting it in a temp folder. Now finally what i think should be improved. This addon doesn't come with a lot of options for liveries, you only get 2 for the 742 which is a KLM livery and a Airfrance cargo Livery and everything else is is a fictional CLS airline livery. I find this to be a problem as the non-steam version gets everything included plus a ton of liveries however i would still buy this off of steam for the time being as Fspilotshop which is where i was looking hadn't labeled the aircraft compatable for FsxSE but if they do in the future i would reccomend getting it from there.

This has been my very long review of the 747 200 and 300 hope it was helpful.

Before i start off my review i'd like to note i have never flown a helicopter outside of the simulator so i have no idea on if the flightmodel is realistic, that said i'll start my review.

The R44 presented in here including all the details shown above are all there, their is indeed a checklist, animated pilot/passangers and a heck of a lot of liverys. At first it was pretty hard to controle as the helicopter seems to be nose-heavy so you have to apply a lot of cyclic to keep her level. When it comes to flight characteristics i have to say i enjoy it very much, as i said i have no experience with real helicopters so i can't say the accuracy is or isn't there compared to the real R44 but that being said it seems that the helicopter acts likes a normal helicopter would and not like the default rotorwing aircraft such as the default R22. Overall i found this to be my favorite helicopter in my hanger and the speed and good handling makes it for a enjoyable sightseeing helicopter.

The CH-47D Chnook was designed as a high proformence transport helicopter and i can say that this add-on lives up to that. I found this both fun and relativly easly to fly (I fly on full realisum) and the instrument panel is easy to get around and not that complex. The design of the blades cancel out the torque for the most part so as a resault you have sensetive anti-torque pedals and this also means that most of the horsepower coming from the engines is purely to keep the helicopter flying and not keeping the torque at a operational level which for conventional helicopters is about 20%-25% of the horsepower. So the end resault you have to be sensetive with the collective at low altitudes as you don't require so much power out of the engine to stay level and this can make it very easy to make mistakes when apparoching a landing zone as you have to be very precise with the collective and the cyclic in order to keep the optimal decent rate. Overall i enjoy flying this helicopter and from what i can gather it is fairly realistic but take that with a grain of salt as i have never flown a helicopter outside of the simulator.

It's fairly hard to give this a fair review as i was blessed of getting the higher budget map enpansions of France & Scandanavia before i got this however i'll try my best.

The Going East Dlc lets you explore more of Poland, Slovakia & Hungry the road layout is fairly simple that of the base game map such as back roads have some bends but overall you just cruse threw whiles the freeways are main routes to get from main citys such as Warsaw. However there are differences from that of the base game, the city road layout is a bit better compared to the base game & if you're looking you'll see some details but nothing on the scale of what you'd expect from the Scandanavia Dlc. If you pay attention to the landscape while driving on the freeways & back roads you'll mostly experience the farm lands of the previously mentioned countries. Overall i wouldn't say it's a massive improvment over the base game but it does allow you to explore more of the eastern countries which i'll admit i do love me some radio & empty back roads. In conclusion i'd say i would reccomend getting the other map expansions if possible but if you just want some more areas to explore & you don't mind those areas being of base game quality then this is a nice little expansion.

-Got the game
-Named every single one of the crew
-Within 5 missions they all died but the bombadier, that was emotional
-Got new crew
-They all died on the first mission except for the bombadier
-Got ANOTHER crew
-Done 18 succesfull missions with this new crew & my bombadier has completed his tour of duty
-Shot down a Me-163
10/10 would reccomend if you want to get your feelings hurt as your fearless crew whom you'll bond with get themselves killed over the skies of occupied Europe.

But in All seriousness this is a very fun & addictive game if you can get it while it's on the promotion DO IT, full of action & a lot of microtasking in order to keep a flight crew alive for at least 10 missions.

Their's a lot of good things to say about this Dlc but i'll put it in a simple phrase "It's not about the destination but the journey" that's the easiest way to sum up this Dlc. What i mean by that phrase is a good way to explain it is this Dlc is for those of you who enjoy the scenery & a relaxing or challangeing road. The country roads provide unique scenery that you can't find anywhere else in the base game while at the same time you can't just turn on cruse control as a lot of turns require braking before the turn. While the main highways do their purpose very well which is a faster road with less bends but even these highways have amazing scenery unlike the base game where it just felt like copy & past scenery. This Dlc also completes France & adds hours of driving to your Euro truck experience so for those of you who just want more cities to deliver to you wont be disappointed.

Overall i really enoyed this Dlc & i would reccomend it to anyone who has the money & is thinking about getting a map expansion.
