Before i start my review i can't say how hard it is to fly for a novice rotorcraft pilot as i am fairly experienced however i have only flown defult untill now.

The Bell 47 is a fun helicopter to fly it isn't too hard i trasitioned to the default bell 206 jetranger to this and it took me 5 minutes to get used to the handleing i can't say if it's realistic as i haven't flown a helicopter outside of simulators but it defently feels different. For a beginer i'd reccomend this as it is used as a trainer and the cockpit is easy to navigate for a experienced pilot you should have no problom the only thing that would catch you offguard is i haven't seen any airspeed indicator but it's not that hard to get around. This DLC comes with 3 different helicopters all of them have different loadouts, The early G model has the skids layout cropdusting and floats. The later model D has only skids but the thing that got my attention was the H-13 MASH layout.

Overall i have fun flying this helicopter and i would reccomend it to anyone who wants to get into rotercraft it maybe a doller or two overpriced but i have no problom with that.

8/10

Now before i go and give my full opinion i want to make it clear i got this on sale for 9.99USD i wouldn't pay full price

But now then i would only reccomend this on sale and if you fly in the area obviously if you fly in scandinavia or the United states more then western europe then don't buy this it's a waist of your money and time.

However if you do fly in western europe a lot like me then you will see a diference when it comes to the affected areas, I can't say they are accuret as i don't live in europe but i can tell you that i had seen a big diference in the areas i fly mostly the areas used to be flat forest and farmland with some hills but after i installed this it went to rolling hills with forest, farmland and small towns so i did enjoy this DLC

So in conclusion i'd only get this on sale and if you fly in the affected areas if you happen to find it on sale and do fly commonly in western europe then i'd would consider this DLC but if it's on sale then that means theirs probably better stuff on sale as well but i do reccomend this if the folllowing was true for you. P.S This also goes great with one of the two tree DLC's.

If you have 27 dollars lying around and you want to get into pro flight sim i'd reccomend this, The FMC takes some getting used to but over all it is a blast to fly, The only probloms i have with it is switching from default flight planners and autopilot takes some getting used too but that's my fault not the plane and the lack of liveries not to mention it hits my fps a lot, In a day with few aircraft in the airspace and not a lot of buildings i get 40fps with the plane rather then my 70fps with default, But i can't say that's the planes fault as much as my computers.

7/10
Good aircraft, Takes some getting used too when switching from default aircraft but this is a good starting position
Oh also for those of you who want to know it has the callouts such as 500-300-50-40-30-20-10 Was very usefull first landing i made in it was a greaser.

The textures that you get updated are very nice but i did have a problom as i got this with steam edition my flight logs and mission rewards weren't showing untill i uninstalled it however i think that's a glitch with fsx steam rather then this dlc, If you don't care for the rewards or the flight hours i would reccomend this but like i said that might just be fsx itself.

Early Access Review
A very fun game and easy to play, The only thing i find very annoying is i've found that the hitboxes for every helicopter in game is so small that even if you hit the helicopter it wont damage it. I don't know if this was a thing the devleopers added or a glitch but it can be very frustraiting. But that's the only thing i can find bad about this game. Props to the developers for a very nice game it's just this one thing but i would highly reccomend this game.

Pros
-Good graphics in my opinion
-Lots of aircraft
-Lots of missions
-The mission builder is fun to screw around with
-One of if not the best World war two dogfighting game
-The developers obviously knew what they were doing when it comes to gameplay
-There's Multi-player
-Most aircraft have diffrent skins
-Lots of mods
-Fun campains
-This game can run decently on old computers like mine
-There's auto-pilot for the players haveing a hard time flying there aircraft
Cons
-Ai is most of the time good but there are those funny yet faceplam moments when the Ai screwes everything up
-lots of controles
-Some of the aircraft are not flyable
-Poor voice acting
-If you're going to play Multi-player you're either going to do it with a friend or find a time when Multi-player rooms are up.
-Instaling mods are a pain.
-Bad keyboard controles with alerons & elevators
I give IL-2 sturmovik 1946 a 9/10
The game is addicting & fun these cons i had to think hard about & there are way to many pros to put on this list.
