FromSoftware not only integrated all the different core mechanics that they have created through the years but also added some basic(crouch, jump) and new mechanics(spirit summoning, guard counter) to enhance the core gameplay deeply. If you are new to the FromSoftware's souls formula this game is the most accessible title you can ever get. There were some optimization issues here and there but it wasn't that game-breaking at least for me. Fromsoft's artwork as fine as ever. Sometimes you just stop your companion Torrent and take a look at The Erdtree's greatness and magnificence and you might say "Holy S*** this game looks beautiful" despite the fact that graphical quality has never been FromSoftware's primary concern. Mounted combat is the best one I have ever seen in any game. Torrent can do double jump and this made the mounted combat far more enjoyable than I expected. Although I have to admit sometimes it gets frustrating because some bosses can knock you off from Torrent with one hit. Spirit summoning is fun and all but some bosses are way too hard(Malenia, Godfrey, Radagon,) without summons especially for melee users. They have lots of AoE(Area of Effect) movesets and insane health and stamina pool. Sometimes bosses never stop attacking. If you do use spirit summons you don't feel rewarded(at least in my case) after destroying Malenia with +10 Tear Mimic. Even though the bosses aren't that great I loved their themes that's for sure. Fromsoftware's one of the signatures is the boss themes. Even the ambience music tries to tell you a story. As soon as you entered the Caelid you know you are in a rotted and corrupted place to its very core because of the ambience music. Overall, Elden Ring exceeded its predeccessor and changed the meaning of "open-world" and "difficulty"

From Software's magnum opus.

Thank you for this beautiful piece of art.
