Campaign is meh, but there is alot of cool ishh to grind for in the multiplayer. Do it for the UIR skins.

What's with all the hate? This is a good rts. True, it does lean more on the action-rts genre side but all in all I think its a great strategy game. Graphics are great, unit models and animations are good, voice acting is great. I get that people dislike it because its different than the prior Dawn of Wars, but its no Command and Conquer 4 change. Its still good. if you like company of heroes or Iron harvest, you'll like this game. I frowned upon the action-rts genre for years, but this game got me thinkn maybe I missed out on a genre that I was looking for all along. Buy it, try it with an open mind. I dont think youll regret it. The WAAAAAAHG towers made it all worth it for me.

Feels cheap for the price. its an rts in which you dont even get to see your buildings constructed... combat feels cheap. I've bought other $5 rts on steam I've enjoyed more. I'd say dodge this one. Its kind of booty.

Great RTS, tower/zombie defense vibes. Campaign is kind of booty but the survival maps have infinite replay-ability. Hoping the negative feedback about the campaign doesn't discourage the devs from taking the title further. Would absolutely buy and recommend any rts game they make at this point.

If you liked command and conquer and enjoy a good rts but need a break from starcraft 2, this is the game for you. I really like the campaign. def the best rts ive played outside of sc2. Id recommend it if you are looking for a newer, good rts.

Hunt will forever be one of my all time favorite games.......but........ the essence of the game
is completely different from 3* to 6*. You don't see the game or community for what it truly is
until you get to upper 5* and 6*. The fun and pure chaos you experience in lower elo is
quickly vanquished once you get to upper elo. Once you become skilled enough to know
better, you quickly realize that something just isn't quite right in upper elo. Those ambushes
you set up on people, are never walked through. Those traps you place in boss lair are all
conveniently dodged. Want to hide out outside of boss lair and wait for multiple other parties
to show up and let them start boss so you can wait on a 2nd party to engage so you can 3rd
party a fight? It never happens, as you and your team hide in the middle of literal nowhere
waiting for the chaos to ensue it never happens and you conveniently get found by a "skilled"
player in the middle of nowhere even though you triggered no audio traps.... Want to hold an
angle on a guy you just saw peek? Forget about ittt..... he won't peek again....... until the
moment you turn away.... Want to watch a "more experienced" player play on twitch so you
too can get better? Don't bother, most Crytek partners aren't even playing the same Hunt you
are. "Skilled" Crytek partners can literally pull out and swap their weapons faster than you.
They can jump around and not get staggered, unlike you. Hate to say it, but..... Your favorite
Hunt content creators aren't nearly actually as good as you think they are. They/THEM just has more information about to game than he/she/herm should. Ever wonder why most Hunt content creators have their camera on the side of their face instead of directly centered on their face? It's def not to hide the fact that they're actively "checking chat" during a push or actively being pushed.. Ever notice that they seem to actively "check chat" every time they lose direct sight of an enemy. Ever wonder why the highly "skilled" streamers never get jump scared or flanked? It's because actively "checking chat" makes them far "better" players. Now, not all Crytek partners are full of it. If you want a more realistic take on upper elo game play make sure to check out PsychoGhost. He's about the only Crytek partner that's almost 100% legit. On to a different type of player...... Remember that guy I said something about you holding an angle on that conveniently never peeks? Well that guy, is playing on either a brand new account orrrrrrrr an account that only has the "popular" FPS games on it..You know, the ones that are or(aren't) plagued with cheaters. But little Timmy would never actually cheat himself right? Little Timmy wouldn't ACTUALLY cheat to obtain a (+)1 kd surely right? Cuz that would be embarrassing if a large demographic of fps gamers had to cheat to be average right? Surely, things aren't actually that bad in reality right? Cuz that would be a pathetic era of gaming to grow up in right? Indeed it is..... But don't blame little TImmy.. It's not his fault. Little Timmy didn't have a father figure to guide him to make ethical and honest choices. Little Timmy was raised by a bitter single mother, that had the "Do it to them before they do it to you mentality" and subconsciously mommy's little attitude bled into little Timmy's personality and character. The only way Little Timmy knows how to fill the void that was left without his father is through causing conflict and ruining fun and experiences for others. Ruining things for others makes little Timmy feel good about himself, because no one else at home will help him feel good about himself. So little Timmy chooses to pretend. Pretend he isn't bothered by the void left by deddy, pretend hes BETTER, better than he could ever actually be by practicing and playing cuz that takes actual time and dedication. Unlike the time and dedication he didn't have from his deddy. He'll show hims deddy and hims angry stepdeddy that he is BETTER, he'll be the BEST. And he'll become the BEST by charging it to Grammy's credit card. YEAH! He'll show them! He'll show them ALL who is ACTUALLY BETTERRRRRRR! And he'll still die to me if I feel like entertaining the Tom Foolery, granted I don't choose to much anymore. Because there's nothing to prove to someone that doesn't care to actually learn. Call me Captain Coping, or call me Deaddy. But Deaddy speak tru tru. sadly.
