Fix the UI. Colorado is awesome, the UI is hell.

Early Access Review
I love the game, truly. Just spent the last week since buying it and plugged in over 30 hours (especially in the last three days as I grinded from level 7 to 12 in order to kill the final boss - no spoilers). Forenote, Stoneshard is in VERY EARLY ACCESS, and most of the mechanics I'm looking for won't be out until 2021.

A few points people may hate: The Combat is heavy RNG, and the Odds are normally not in your favor. Saving is a b***h and it's infuriating losing that 1-2 hours of progress simply because there wasn't a bed nearby. fighting that boss low level only to get stun locked, magic blasted, hexed, bled, and/or straight up outmatched in 1v1 (or 1v6 if THAT unlucky) is just as terrible as getting mauled by wolves after you bought that expensively rare item and forgot to save.

To these people, who bag on Stoneshard for giving them enormous grief, denouncing the game in rage simply because they cannot proceed without harder grind or tricking the AI, I say this:

True, the game has its faults, but it's freaking addicting AND enjoyable. Yes, it is hard, but so are games like Dark Souls (which if you haven't played then buckle up buttercup), which has probably given me hemorrhaging from the amount of times I lost souls to measly hollows as I figured the game out. Yes the saving is strict, and the requirement to sleep in bed to save puts a damper on things, but it's the same for other games Like Red Dead Redemption (the first 1), which if you don't remember also had the same mechanic. And it's a World Renown game to this day. And YES THE COMBAT IS A B***H. But you know what? So is life. Stoneshard doesn't give you a hand, telling you that mommy will kiss your bruises and everything will be sunshine and rainbows. That's not how life works, that's not how the game works either. You have to plan, practice, resort to Guerilla Warfare, fight dirty, use chokepoints, study your enemy if you want to SURVIVE. You're a mage build, but can't do ♥♥♥♥♥ against zombies in the tile next to you? Then Don't get that close. The Bandit boss stunlocks you? Then Purchase items to reduce that chance, grab a shield, and stun lock him first. Or what about that freaking pyromancer, who is relentless? The imp who eats bodies to become stronger? The Rogue who'll put you at a disadvantage and backstab you? It's simple beating these enemies.

All you have to do is follow these three steps:

Plan, Prepare, Profit.

If you don't, well, Sayonara mi amigo. Don't blame the game for having the upper hand. It addresses at the beginning that you aren't a chosen one. You don't have godly immortality. In fact it's giving you more than you deserve by letting you restart from your closest save. If you want to survive, you have to fight for it. Don't poke the bear when you're level 2. Use some common sense. If you rub those brain cells together, then this game is for you.

Absolute must for RPG fans. While it has only four paths, in no way shape or form are they linear. The amount of diversity with character building is phenomenal and honestly, the characters are fantastic. The story is not only intense but engaging! I wish Paradox publishes a sequel because I definitely want a sequel

Absolutely fantastic for all DND nerds. If you enjoy pathfinder, you'll enjoy this, because nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition :)

Absolutely amazing game, 10/10 definite recommend.
I advise everyone to get this game and play with their friends, just beware, you will NOT succeed the first try. It is a hard and dangerous journey that I have fallen to over a dozen times. Still haven't beaten it, yet I'm trying. Also, Lore Store (awesome play on name) is worth every bit to save for, considering there's around 30 events you can purchase to experience in game along with another 6 classes that are definitely better than the starting ones, (although you have to find two of them in the game).
