Funny how this was deleyed to iron out any issues.
This DLC came out as a bug fest. The 7/6/2023 update improved the situation quite a bit so let me update my review aswell.

158:
-DSD is louder outside the cab than inside, volume stays the same no matte the distance
-HUD displays the line top speed disregarding the thrain's top speed
-GSMR turns itself off
-Window whipers don't remove water from the windows
-Passenger blocking you from getting out of the cab
-Guard panel buttons have wrong mapping
-"Doors open when lit" light is lighting on and off regardless of the door status
-DSD pedal not working
-Instrument light switch has no effect as those lights are always on
-No manual destination display control, wrong destinations displayed automaticly


HST:
-GSMR? Nope
-Not possible to sit in passenger seats
-Not all doors close when they should (they said the fixed it, nope)
-DRA and DSD isolation and normal are reversed
-The above is now fixed but the forgot to remap the DSD switch so now isolated=on
-Coupling hatch doesn't open (they said the fixed it, nope)
-Parts inside the cab (the walls) are low definition for some reason

Others:
-TPSW sets the emergency brakes for no reason on the approach to Nottingham and
Barrow-upon-Soar (they said the fixed it, nope)
-No stop markers
-Speed boards and speed changes don't match
-Tracks disconnected at some switching points (they said the fixed it, nope)
-Power station looks not as terrible from a distance as it used to
-No freight (yet) cause they said it was causing crashes
-Consequently the tracks going into the power station remain unutilized
-Lights at level crossings don't light up
-Trains still clip some platforms
-The PIS boards act really weird, probably due to the new timetable mentioned below

This DLC only covers a small area and as a result doesn't deliver full jurneys but only parts of them. After the 7/6/2023 update the timetable was enriched a bit (HST subs in for some Class 222 services) and we got the best part of this DLC so far: the 158 now has a simulated guard!!
Before the update I'd advise anyone against purchasing this, after the update I wouldn't go as far as recommending it before the majority of other UK DLC but I'll say it's ok-ish.
Keep in mind that the devs have mentioned that they're going to treat this part of the MML as a base for their future DLC so we may be witnessing the ugly birth of something trully great, we shall see. :)

I'd expect more layers for other routes epsecially with the 158 intead of just the HSTs on St. Pancras that you can't even get near.
June 2023 Roadmap mentions that we'll get the 158 in the Glossop line, it's a start i guess.

Used to be a great game. With every update ubisoft makes it worse and worse based exclusivly on the esports feedback, 100% ignoring the true community. The only time when they care about them is when they want to brag about their X millions of prayers (God knows how many of them, including me, are invective and will never come back).

I can play bf4 in ultra and I can hardly play PUBG in ultra low, this is rediculous
