DayZ. No other game is like it, nothing you play will ever come close to this one. All the experiences are different, every encounter is different, every gunfight is different. Every life on this game can have a totally different series of events from the one before. I definitely recommend this game. I've been playing this game pretty much since it came out. Any older review you see isn't worth reading most because they're complaining about what this game used to be, which wasn't a perfect game it had it's issues for sure but was never as bad as some of these reviews say. So the game for what it is NOW is fantastic...if you play modded servers. Since modding became a thing it's super fun it just depends how modded you want to play. You can join servers with juggernauts, .50 cals, so modded they do take the survival aspect out which I do not enjoy at all or you can play very minimally modded servers that take out the unnecessary frustration from vanilla DayZ such as stamina, really my biggest issue is stamina, the map is massive and running out of breathe after twenty feet just because I'm carrying a weapon and a backpack is too excessive for me. Personally I think vanilla DayZ isn't fun. You need incredible patience to play this game without mods purely because the game is so realistic it causes so much frustration that if you want a die hard survival game, this is the one. If you just want a good survival game with insane PVP/PVE at the same time; that isn't ridiculously frustrating I recommend this game and just play modded servers that keep a vanilla feel to it that's how I play the game.
