Pros: Large player base, lots of maps and regular updates, live service game, most realistic mainstream Battle Royale, skins and items, seasonal battle pass free/paid, things like the reputation system, training arena, solo/duo or squad, casual mode available, ranked mode available, many interesting items/vehicles, game has improved in many ways like the increased varieties each match and also each map has unique features, great Battle Royal concept and fun both the fast paced small maps and original philosophy of slow paced like it was 6/7 years ago. And game is very fun with friends and friends is recommended for EU matchmaking due to language barrier with random squad member.

Cons:
They need to increase their fight against cheaters/hackers it can be annoying when you do meet one.
Skill ceiling.
Store is not intuitive.

Still one of my favorite games after i first played about 6 years ago, and i always return and have fun and enjoyement despite it's issues, game is more fun than ever with much content in every aspect like the lvl'ing, cosmetics, maps etc. Each match is different and the game feels rewarding and satisfying. Game won't fit everyone but i fondly look at the core of pubg and enjoy my chicken dinner in solo games, or with friends.
