This early access title beats most 1.0 releases in a very long time!
I am very glad this game arrived, i didnt have much left to play, and absolutely nothing left worth buying!

There is people complaining you have to pay for access now, when its free later on. Ignore these trolls, for whatever pack you buy, you get ingame currency for the same amount of the bundles price. Basically, you are not paying anything for the access itself. But whatever way you look at it, nobody forces you to play it now. Its up to you to wait till its becoming free.

I would pay the base price of this game x2, simply because its already better now, than most these low effort AAA 1.0 releases lately! I even would pay more, without getting the ingame currency! Why?! Imho, you have to reward and support devs like this.
These devs are ones of the very few we got left, who do a damn good job! But it seems some ppl prefer to spend their money on pathetic, low effort, cashgrab AAA games, which seem to be in a pre alpha state.
Each to their own, i guess!

Im not somebody who needs great graphics or something, so thats not the problem.
I played the original when it was released, and i loved it... I dont wanna say the remastered Version is worse than the original... Maybe its just me. Just because i loved it when i was 20 yrs old, doesnt mean i still do when im 42... I am sad about it honestly, i wanted to like it.
Well, i wont give it a bad review just because my personal taste changed. They made the game better, so why would i rate it bad, just because it aint my cup of tea anymore.

Game is fogging awful.
I fogging hate Behaviour.

Theres no real content in sight in this game. Ya i was able to see that within a few minutes. I bet you are bored after a few hours... Or right away, like me.
And the final nail in the coffin was when i went up to stage 6 coop with a stranger, got "disconnected from server message" and there wasnt an option to rejoin the game or whatever.

Add the tags LBGQT+ and Fantasy.

Men can become pregnant. Must feel good to get this kind of "fantasy" added, so you get your LBGQT+ content.

Oh and dont mention anything about this on the discussion board, or you are automatically homophobic, because some people are such snowflakes. :D

I identify myself as toaster btw., so i demand adding other toasters to the game, so i can have a nice toaster family.

Updated Review after playing some hours.
If you are on the edge to buy or to skip this game, because there is tons of ppl saying "dont do it, it wont ever be finished", i can clearly recommend you to buy it!
To me personally this game is a pretty unique mix of features, other games already offer, but not in a mix this game offers! So it was a must buy, because its exactly what i have been looking for.

Since ppl got 3 "major" complaints, i am going to break these down first.

1. Optimation complaints: I have no idea where those are coming from. Sure, the game is not 100% optimised, but it runs absolutely fine on my system (which i would rate mid tier).

2. Graphics complaints: Again i got no clue, what ppl are complaining about here. Ya it aint AAA graphics, but their absolutely okay! And if you are somebody who thinks graphics > content, then all i can say is: You poor poor poor soul... :P

3. AI generated voices complaints: They aint bad. They are planning to change those at some point, but tbh they just shouldnt waste any resources on that. This isnt a full RPG. Sure there is questing, but it just isnt the focus. I do not understand complaints about that either!

Those have been the major complaints of ppl, which are just laughable imho.
Now im going to talk about the game and my experience in about 6 hours with it.

1. The start (might call it tutorial): It is a bit boring, but most tutorials are, no? Everything seems slow and boring first 1-2 hours, but it is getting better and better, once you get more people who are doing the "boring things" for you.

2. Bugs, Crashes, general performance: I had no crash, i did not run into any major bug, i got no stuttering or anything. Only thing that takes a bit too long for my taste, is loading into the game.

3. Content, and some general things: Content wise, i can not tell how many hours you can get out of this game yet. I have only 3 followers after my playtime, am nowhere near ready to free the villages or anything. The technology tree tells me i researched about 15% of what is available to research/build right now. You might be able to go faster than me, im not rushing.

The biggest issue i got with the game, is QOL. I can think of a lot quality of life improvements here. Some things are annoying, but also can easily be changed. There is a reason it is early access, and if you expect a perfect game, you shouldnt be buying EA games anyway.

My opinion about this game: Its great. I can see myself easily getting enough playtime out of it to be worth the price tag (which is low imho). So, if you are worrried about the game being finished, ask yourself is it worth the money at its current state. Thats exactly the question you should ask yourself before buying ANY EA game. For me its clearly a HELL YEAH, it is! Highly recommended, i love it.

Ich schreibe diesen sehr verfrühten Review um dem Review-Bombing das gerade passiert entgegen zu wirken.

Ich bin erst 1 Std. im Spiel, aber bisher macht es Spass. Vor allem das Bausystem scheint komplex, aber dennoch leicht zu bedienen. Es scheint so einiges zu entdecken zu geben und es scheint einiges an Content vorhanden zu sein.

Negativ ist bisher lediglich die Optimierung. PC Temperaturen gehen relativ weit nach oben. Ich muss das Spiel mit weniger Details spielen, obwohl ich die Systemvoraussetzungen weit übertreffe.
Es ist aber Early Access und sowas wie die Optimierung kommt meistens gegen Ende EA, da noch vieles implementiert wird, das eine verfrühte Optimierung wieder zu Nichte machen könnte..

Jedenfalls ist das Review-Bombing absolut unverdient, soweit ich das bisher sagen kann.
Sobald ich mehr berichten kann, werde ich den Review updaten.

It is a great game honestly! It just isnt for me, simply because its too peaceful for my taste.
It has a lot to offer. I didnt run into bugs, the features are great, performance is great. It gives huge settlers vibes. I just miss the "race for land against the enemy". If you got no problems with that, buy it!
