Basically if you love StarCraft series - this is a worthy grandson of it. Campaign is nice and chunky with a lot of different factions and units to try. Good fun :D

Good Strategy game with interesting card mechanics ... but the between mission stuff is boring as fk and cosmetic stuff is annoying and for the nerds..

Any game that tries to add its own formula to the C&C RTS I am going to love. Retro Commander does that - its not perfect but it does tickle those nostalgic nerves ends.
Good:
Nice variety of units and combat craft - air, land, sea.
Good fast forward option
Resource collection is simple

Bad
Maps are a bit generic, not much interaction with the environment
Path finding can be tricky for some units
Micro-managing power supply can get boring at times.
Campaign hero is a weakling - you lost each stage if he dies. He aint no Tanya

IF YOU ARE A FAN OF FF7 THEN YOU CANNOT SAY NO

AMAZING HOW THEY BRING THE WORLD OF FF7 TO LIFE!!!!

THE ONLY DOWNSIDE FOR ME WOULD BE THE START CAN BE A BIT OF A DRAG IF YOU WANTED TO GET INTO EXPLORING THE WORLD ... YOU NEED A FEW HOURS TO GET INTO IT BUT I LIKED IT

Old School with a new coat of paint - if you like Age of Empires then you will like this game.
I prefer it to AoE because of the god powers... not much room to turtle anymore as I noted the forts are kinda useless against myth units ... it truly is battle of the beasts!

Ash of Gods is a great fantasy world - the card x RPG element is a good combination and the different culture themed cards are interesting - would recommend.

Great RTS isometric strategy fun - if you like Wastelanders/Xcom then this is for you.. there are some issues around scaling of difficulty if you activate the DLC which should have been addressed, story can seem a bit bare at times but overall a good Warhammer product - better than those out of the barrel mobile ports for sure.

Was looking forward to Frozenheim as it looked pretty and combat looked good from a RTS perspective- I love Viking-esqe folklore so was interested. However I would have to not recommend the game to my RTS buddas:

THE GOOD: Really nice graphics - make sure to get the settings right before you play as running the game can seriously heat up your hardware if the settings are too high, I loved the seasonal aspect and this concept should be carried forward to more RTS games. The units and functions were simple and engaging.

THE BAD: Unfortunately it looks like the devs gave up on updates when this game did not get traction I guess, the campaign is very weak on story and structure, the balance of resourcing is hard - wood is more precious than gold in this game. The camera controls and placing of structures can get frustrating. I mainly play games for the story and so for me this was the main let down. (God I miss the C&C Days when they had FMV intros for the campaign -lucky be a kid at that time).

THE UGLY: Your Mom :D
