a fun f2p dark soul ish game

(I got this DLC for free thanks to downloading it on day one, this didn't changed my opinion about my experience in the DLC in any way)

So far, both the "The Artic Cruise" and the "Death Wish" contents of the Seal The Deal DLC are great: The new chapter has some pretty fun stuff and a wonderfull new map while the Death Wish mode spices things up with quests and harder versions of existing levels.

However, the DLC seems incredibly rushed in some aspects: You will find certain hitboxes to be missing and glitchy aswell and just the first Act alone i've found tons of bugs, one of them even made me restart the whole Act (having to bring the rotten food to the kitchen, but there was no rotten food or Mafia member to give me the shard). If you want to have a good experience with the new chapter, make sure you stay on the given path and don't explore much until the game says so.

As for the time rifts of "The Artic Cruise": Horrible, it's just a bunch of annoying challanges that take too long to beat and then die at the end (mainly those purple time rifts). Probably the worst part of this DLC.

Overall it's one of the best DLC's i've seen that definitely adds more charm and content to an already great game.

EDIT: Artic Cruise has 3 Acts, it may not sound like much but there's a good ammount of fun to be had in it.
Also, for those saying that Death Wish is impossible in the sense of completing all bonus challenges: You're meant to complete the bonus challenges on second playtroughs of that quest, not complete them all in one shot. The game literally says so.

EDIT 2:

As of March 27 2020, UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[st] is now UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r] (or UNICLR for short).

This means that content such as balance changes, stages, music and characters will be added to UNIST. Londreika is now in the game as a DLC character but the overall update is free.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (Release Day)
Better port than BBTAG. Still needs to improve, witnessed random slowdowns on certain stages and with the training menu.
Gameplay is better, more chars, more fun.

Edit:

after arcsys fixed the port, no problems were found aside from the netcode.
this is quite possibly one of the best fast paced 1v1 fighters you can get

micro transactions and DLC for chars, stages, costumes, music

EDIT:

while the excess of monetisation may turn most people off, this is by far the most fun SF there is.
there's a some nice game modes since the AE update and the online scene has plenty of PC players and PS4 players.
I would probably advise to get the game on sale and one of the season passes, then you can easily grind FM (the game's currency) to buy 2 or 3 characters that you might like.

Also, don't bother with the free Story Mode DLC, its extremely dull and only had a few enjoyable moments. The pacing is all over the place and you dont really get anything from playing it (you have a chance to play with the Season 1 characters and thats about the only positive thing).

Dojos were also a great addition to help you find a group of people to have fun with and to practice against.

Get it if you're a street fighter fan or if you know what you're getting into.
It's more casual friendly compared to USF4 and a lot more enjoyable.
