"Carpe Diem"


1. Be adaptable, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

2. Be welcome to change that does not hurt anything or anyone or is for the greater good. Be that change and direct yourself.

3. Be a realist - ( understand what is real and possible in a particular situation : accept and deal with things as they really are. We cannot all be contortionists)

4. Be a humanist and know the true value of all human beings and animals and nature, not as a commodity but as a precious form of change and growth for oneself and others.

5. Learn as much information as possible from all sources, whether right or wrong in opinions one does not exist without the other. We are born with two eyes so that we may see a more peripheral view.

6. Accept mistakes and responsibility for our actions. We are fallible human beings. Do not blame others for our actions, we should be more self-reflective and look within and learn from our mistakes.

7. Educate yourself about the earth we live on and its magical properties which science is uncovering one small step at a time, exactly like the mobile phone you may have in your hand. After all, we all come from the same source and knowledge of this can bring contentment, wonder and advancement.

8. Learn to live with yourself, learn to love yourself but do not put yourself over another, be selfless, do not be jealous of others. You are just as important as someone else. We are all a chain ( ouroboros) linked to each other through intangible means. Try to remove a link and another will take its place.

9. Give your knowledge freely to others that lack the means to obtain it. Leave a legacy once your body returns to the earth. Be remembered by what you gave and not by what you took.

10. Be thankful. Treat every day like it’s your last. Regrets are for the dead, not the living. When beholden in anger look to those less fortunate than you.
