Enderal is one of the best RPG's I've ever played. Although I have been playing RPG's since my childhood Enderal really surprised me in many ways. The biggest strengths of this game are definitely the story, atmosphere and voice acting.

Those three parts are on par with AAA Games and it's stunning to see such quality in something that is fully free. Sometimes the story feels a little bit too corny and at the first glance some story developments feel like typical plot devices (If you actually invest time in reading books and other lore explanations it becomes much better.) But the story can definitely be considered a masterpiece especially if you like psychological and philosophical storytelling.

However, to be totally true, the game suffers from crashes and an underwhelming combat system. Additionally, you can point out some shortcomings in the addition of new items when you compare it to Skyrim (the developers reused a lot of items from the "Original").

Overall I can say that it was an amazing experience to play this game and the story and characters delivered a lot of thought - provoking questions. 9/10
