I actually quite enjoyed the game for the most part. However, I feel like it's cut a bit short. We only have little bits of the story, and while the dialogue is written pretty well, I really feel the actual scenes are lacking bigger context. I wouldn't be able to describe the personalities of both May and August, because there's just so little information about it. When I saw the bad endings with May dying I was feeling really weird about them. When Im all in support for taking care of yourself and others during Covid, telling us in one scene that "Im doing fine, the doctors say Im not in any danger and it's all fine" and then she dies the next scene. Very sudden. But it was the "Alone" ending that really made me uncomfortable. May was sleeping to little and overworking herself, so I suggested she should improve her habits, because we pretty much knew the cause and I thought going to the doctor's in the middle of the pandemic isn't really a good idea, especially when we know that sleeping too little might be the cause. I know you can't expect some things in life and that was probably the message that you need to take care of yourself at all times. However I feel it is a bit weird, that she wouldn't go to the doctor after the pandemic or even during it, if there was no signs of change with her headaches and feeling dizzy. I feel that in the end the message ends up being "You make a wrong move - You die." with no real room for overcoming such things, if you ever are in a hospital with something serious, it would always result in death. That's be a bit of a weird message to give, so hence my negative reception. Overall,I like the visual style and the cute relationship, but I feel like it's toying with the player too much. Especially giving such *subtle* dialogues like "If they haven't removed the tumor now, it would've been too late!". I feel it's only making people more anxious about they well-being, especially now.
