I bought this game for Xbox 360 about a year after it came out. The game was a bit buggy but I still had a ton of fun with it. When I first bought it on Steam, I bought it on my HP Pavillion laptop that had no business running that type of game. The framerate was horrendous and the stuttering was atrocious, partly because the computer I was using was not made for gaming and it may have also had to do with the 100+ mods I was trying to run alongside the game. Yet despite this, in my insane mind, I managed to squeeze almost 700 hours into the game, albeit a fraction of that was loading screens and framerate drops into the single digits. So, now that I have an actual PC that I can enjoy the game with mods, I find this game a masterpiece. Of course vanilla is a fine game in itself, adding mods to this game makes it one of the best games of all time in my opinion. .

I know this has been more a story than a review, but I highly recommend this game, regardless if you are a Fallout fan. If you like any one of these: blood, gore, intense violence, post-apocolyptic setting, role-playing games, FPS, killing super mutants; then you should at the very least give this game a try.
