此中有真意，欲辨已忘言。
在众多对《西游记》小说改编的文艺作品中，我认为本作是唯一真正道破其真意的作品。唐三藏坐无底船渡河时，在水中看到了自己的倒影，从江上漂流而来的江流儿就这样踩在名为“自我“的幻象上漂流而去。本作又何尝不是如此呢，由孙悟空意见欲化身而成的天命人在寻找自我的路上踏平坎坷，而在集齐五根后终于见到自我，然后战胜自我，从而放下自我，我想紧箍咒也正是那个名为”自我“的“心中偶像“之象征吧。
