i dont really think hyper light survived the transition from 2d to 3d like risk of rain did. i know its early access and calling it rough around the edges is light, but it lost a lot of the feel of hyper light *drifter*. whats left feels more like a greasey pan of nuts and bolts the developers had to shove out the door to try and make money because their funding ran out. its just shy of a published triple dipple A-AA* (BBB) game, and far, far south of what i really enjoyed about the original.

needs like another year in the oven, and less procedural generation

plays like i stepped in ♥♥♥♥ while walking down a wetted floor in my local grocery store and then i slipped and fell and got permanent brain damage this review is tenuous the dev knows it plays like this but until then i want you, LORI VONROY to work on this game and make it playable thanks : )

some of the puzzles are absolutely infuriating

yup buy it

kinda feels like worms (tm) but its a puzzle platformer
